Neoprene Knee Sleeves for Weightlifting, Men, & Women, L

I ordered these sleeves when I was looking around for some quality lifting compression sleeves. I have had knee surgeries in both of my knees (Meniscus removed in both) and I have issues with dislocations/sliding/popping when lifting. I can't say I have tried a quality Knee Sleeve and have not tried SBD's or Rehbands, but have tried cheaper sleeves in the past and they have not really lasted more than a couple workouts before they were stretched out and worn out. The Nordic sleeves have been pretty durable so far, and I will say that they do feel like they provide a ton of support when I am squatting/cleaning and even running. I was actually going to buy the Rehbands (similar product) based on a friend's experience with them, but looked of reviews and determined that these were close or as good as the original (blue) rehband knee sleeves HOWEVER these are MUCH cheaper. You get a PAIR vs only getting 1 sleeve from Rehband. I also prefer the black/white color. In terms of quality/fit/experience. They feel good when they are on. Their sizing chart is relatively accurate (I can't say either way since I have only tried one size, but it feels like it was correct). They definately provide support and have a springyness that I believe other reviewers have mentioned. They keep your knee very warm/stable when lifting with them. They stay in place and as of about a month or so they have not been stretched out or begun to slide like some past ones I have tried. I have already recommended them to some friends and would recommend the sleeves.

I purchased the Nordic Neoprene Compression Knee Sleeves for running a suburban North Atlanta, GA (Roswell) route with many hills and valleys. I had a meniscus tear repaired in 2012. In addition, sometimes my knees feel a little unstable from many years of playing basketball on New York City playgrounds. Prior to my purchase, I read many of the reviews, and several folks complained of large amounts of sweat on the neoprene sleeves after a good workout. So in addition to purchasing the Nordic Knee Sleeves, I also bought a couple pairs of the 3M Ace Knitted Knee Support ( 3M Ace Knitted Knee Support, Medium ) to wear under the sleeves to soak up most of the moisture. This combination works beautifully [for me]! Once I remove the Nordic sleeves after a run, they have a little bit of surface moisture that is easily wiped away with a towel, but at least 90% or more of the moisture is absorbed by the Ace Knitted Knee Support. My suggestion to the folks at Nordic is to consider designing and manufacturing an absorbent, lightweight, and fitted companion sleeve to wear underneath the Nordic Neoprene Compression Sleeve. If you don't, I will. Regarding the functionality of the Nordic Knee Sleeves, in a word; SUPERB! The circumference of my knee, mid patella, measures 16.5 inches. I chose the Large size for the Nordic Compression Sleeve, and the L/XL size for the Ace Knitted Knee Support. Once I put on the Ace Knitted Knee Support, I roll-up the Nordic Compression Sleeve and pull it up to the bottom of the Ace Knitted Knee Support. Then I unroll the Nordic Compression Sleeve up over the Ace Knitted Knee Support. The result is a tight fit with evenly distributed compression on the knee cap, and above and below the patella. The course I run used to take me 50 minutes to complete, because it was uncomfortable running uphill. Now that I'm wearing the Nordic Neoprene Compression Sleeve, I've reduced that time to 41 minutes in less than a week because I can now run uphill instead of walking; slowly but surely building my stamina. The best part is, my knees are not hurting after I complete a run! Regarding fit and finish, the Nordic Knee Sleeve is very well constructed with a contour that fits above and below my knee perfectly. The neoprene is a thick material with a durable, high quality feel. The stitching is top notch throughout. In addition to the high quality construction of the Nordic Knee Sleeves, the packaging too is first-rate. This product feels like it will last for years, which is sort of depressing because I really want a second pair, but just can't justify it. Which brings me to the price; THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN! If you're in the market for a pair of well designed, well constructed, top quality, reasonably priced knee compression sleeves, then check out the Nordic Knee Sleeves.

These knee sleeves saved my squat. My knees started exhibiting pain during squats, and being over 50, I thought it was time to get a pair of knee sleeves. I have been using them for more than two weeks now, and the pain is gone. I can squat twice a week with no problems. These are well constructed and fit nice and tight. They keep my knees warm and well protected. Going up the stairs no longer hurts either. I never realized how much I needed these.

Great product in terms of quality and price! The sizing chart is also accurate in terms of recommended method of measure and degree of fit. I would buy these again without a second thought. Product does exactly what it is designed to do very well, my squats have felt noticeably better. The neoprene does have a tendency to bunch up in the back as other reviewers have stated, not really a big deal though as it's a quick fix. My only recommendation is that you include some sort of insert with instructions that inform first time users of how to properly apply the product. This is very important given the often provided advice of recommending a more snug fit (size lower) as opposed to the latter. First time users will experience a brief moment of panic when their new sleeve stops at their calves, and that excitement you had on opening the package is now gone! A google search is a quick fix...as it was for me but it's a suggestion!

I'm 45, and have knees that probably skew older than that. Six months ago, for reasons that defy sanity, I decided to start doing calisthenics and ninja obstacle training. That's all going well (or, you know, as well as can be expected for someone whose experience with ninja obstacle training amounted to watching ANW since back when it was on G4...), but the second time I tried one-leg bench squats as part of my calisthenics training, my left knee decided I was an idiot and needed to die. Being relatively convinced that I'm not an idiot, and pretty sure I don't need to die, I researched knee sleeves and found these. Because now that I've started, I'm not stopping just because my knee sounds like it's got Rice Krispies in it. Nope - I'm gonna brace that sucker and keep going! And the Nordic Lifting knee sleeves have allowed me to do exactly that. If I'm doing anything that involves squats, or if I'm doing TRX training, or if I think I might have to do anything of the sort, I'm wearing one of these sleeves on my left knee and feeling safe and secure. In the space of two months, I've worn one of these often enough that I managed to start splitting one of the seams. (Yes, the sleeves are the right size for my legs. Yes, that's a picture of the split with this review. It's not even very big - yet.) Why the 5-star review, then? Well first, because the sleeves WORK. And second because within hours of me contacting the company - on a SUNDAY, no less - I had a response, offering to send me a set of replacement sleeves at no cost. I love this product. It helps protect what I know is a vulnerable joint and lets me do the exercises that I know will help strengthen the muscles that support it. I also have a ton of respect for the company. They are a great example of how you do customer service right. Thanks, Nordic Lifting!

I’ve had these for 9 months now. I am over 60. I am not a big guy 5’11” 185 and I bought the large. Still fit tight and comfortable with good support. I am not a power lifter but I do squat and dead lift 3 times per week along with cardio and upper body lifting. I have a bad right knee and these make working out much more pleasant and I feel wearing them during a workout helps my knee the day after. They are also comfortable enough to wear during a treadmill cardio. They don’t slip, bind, or pinch. In fact I wear the right knee one under my scrubs in the OR if my knee is bothering me. I thought I would write this for all those regular people out there. I don’t know how these are squatting 500 pounds but for my lowly 150 they are perfect. Also, since they don’t cost an arm and a leg I wear them gardening and they protect my knees under long pants while squatting pulling weeds. Very well made. No signs of wear. I do rinse them out with warm water after every use. Towel dry them and stand them inside out overnight. They have no odor even though I do after workouts. Couldn’t be more pleased. So for all the rest of us out there you won’t be disappointed.

*I preface this review by saying that I have only used these knee sleeves for powerlifting and weightlifting, so not much moving around or mobility work. I've been using these knee sleeves consistently for the past two years after purchasing them in Feb of 2020. As of writing this review in July of 2022 they are still holding up extremely well, support my knees in all exercises and lifts I use them for, and have maintained their strength and structure. I've really put these sleeves through the writing with all sorts of squats, leg extensions, and use them as my go-to shin protection when doing any form of deadlifts. They do extremely well in all facets and have never let me down. Sizing is important when choosing the correct size. As such it is important you take the time before ordering to measure exactly as the picture shows on the product page to make sure you are getting the size that will feel the best and serve you the best when you do your exercises. Ultimately for the price you really cannot beat these Nordic sleeves. I have an expensive pair of SBD knee sleeves that I hardly ever use because these ones do the trick just fine. I cannot recommend these enough across the board. 5 Support Stars out of 5!

I originally ordered this for myself in a size medium, as per the size chart, and it was way WAY tight on my calves. I couldn't even get it up past my calf to go around the knee. So I returned that and ordered a large and xl just in case, and the large was still tight on my calves (like constricting blood flow tight) and the xl was much too loose. My husband ended up keeping the xl and I have gone on to try other brands, which have all fit great on me. This is a nice knee sleeve from what my husband says, but the sizing is weird. For reference, I'm a 5'1" 125 lbs female and my calves are by no means massive...they're 14". My thighs on the other hand are quite thick and I had no problem with the tightness of the sleeve with the large there.

Love these . Really help me with my squats . Cheaper than SBD and do the same thing . Just wish they had more there colours

Perfect product highly recommend it will not disappoint

I recently bought a pair of Nordic Lifting elbow sleeves and also knee sleeves to help with my weight lifting. I'm following the 5 x 5 Stronglift program which requires heavy lifting 3 times a week including exercises such as dead lifts, squats, bench press and military press etc. After several weeks of this program I was starting to get soreness in my elbows and after watching a few youtube videos of professional lifters I decided to invest in some protection. I considered cheaper products but decided to pay a bit extra in the hope of getting a good quality product that would last. I was not disappointed. The Nordic sleeves are of exceptional quality, great fit as per the size guide and a very comfortable fit. They provide a good amount of support and keep your elbows and knees warm during the workout which is helpful to prevent injury. They are very easy to slip on and off which is a major advantage over wraps. I'm glad I bought these and would recommend to anyone for weight lifting or other sports requiring joint support. Nordic contacted me soon after my purchase just to check I had received them and was happy with them, seems like good customer service.

I really wanted to love these knee sleeves. I’ve previously had Rehbands, but I wanted something less expensive after mine gave out after 10 years of use. I measured my knee circumference and chose a size based on their size chart, but they were WAY too small and I had to return them and get a size up. Even the size up was still quite tight, but they’re supposed to fit firmly to provide the right amount of support. Unfortunately, the foam in one of the knee sleeves ripped after only 5 or 6 uses. I will be returning these and going back to Rehbands, which are much higher quality.
