Overall I think the product is a good value for the price, it was easy to put together seems fairly sturdy. It's a good basic rack system for your sound equipment.

This is the exact item I need for our group. Because us when starting to assemble. Especially the sides attached to the base. The particleboard underneath will shatter if you miss a line. Suggest you pre-drill as I had to re-drill the metal brackets. Once everything is aligned (I used clamps), this is a fantastic item and value for the $$

Overall this case is an awesome value. With that being said, the Cons: Assembly wasn't a cake walk, but it wasn't exactly difficult either. There are a few fit issues where enough wiggle room in the design could POTENTIALLY be an issue for some folks. However, with a little ingenuity and patients, it comes together rather nicely. This case isn't going to survive a full-on World Tour. Based on the material thickness and joint attachments, I would imagine a fall from a moving vehicle would break it into pieces. So... if you are looking for a military grade crate for your gear, you will need to spend a lot more money. The top (mixing board) compartment is a bit limited on size. Read the description and know the size of your board. I have the larger model of Yamaha rack mount mixer which is just a couple of rack spaces too large to fit. My smaller Peavey fits with room to spare. The Pros: The case wasn't a nightmare to put together. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. I would recommend a 2nd set of hand (I had my kid help me hold corners and the such) and a cordless drill. I was completely assemble the rack and load my gear into it in an hour (in no hurry). Once assembled with gear installed the rack is pretty solid. The front and back panels simply pop in and out with a fairly snug fit. The lid secures with a tight latch. Its is very easy to access all the gear quickly. Bottom Line: I use this rack to hold a small mixer, power conditioner, effects process, and a couple of EQs. I could EASILY fit a lot more gear into the bottom. My band uses powered speakers, so there isn't anything very heavy mounted in the rack. It opens up easily & quickly for use at a gig. It stows away and transports just as easily. I use an enclosed trailer to get it back & forth. It rides very well. I am very please with this rack for what I use it for. I wouldn't fill it with old-fashioned power amps. Overall, an excellent value!

This is a good solid unit for the price. Assembling it can prove a little tricky, not for lack of understanding how the pieces go together but more so for the inferior fasteners provided.

It's cheap for a reason. Assembly is an awful task. The instructions are terrible but it's pretty easy to figure out anyway. The main problem is that you can't use a power drill on most of the screws so you have to hand screw most of this thing together and getting the sides flush with the bottom in step 1 is especially difficult because you can't use a power drill. And then on the very last step, putting on the wheels you can't actually use the mounting plate because the bottom corner bracket is in the way! That was by far the worst assembly I have ever done on anything.

I have to say that this rack sure does look nice! I wish they had put as much effort into the rest of the rack as they did with the carpet. This has the potential to be a nice rack, although a lot of modifications are required. I put this together in about 30 minutes by myself. Be sure to check that all corners are square. Mine were not. I had to take all of the pre-installed brackets loose. Threw away the supplied screws and used through bolts for all attachments. This thing is pressed board, that is like sawdust bound together with glue so there is no structural support. Next I threw away the tiny baby wheels they supply. I had to cut metal plates the sandwich the bottom of the cabinet to support the new castors (I used 3 inch 100lbs. castors). The handles are also a problem area, make sure to use large washers on the back of through bolts. The hinges and latch on the lid worked out fine. So, after purchasing this product and putting another $45 worth of hardware on it this actually worked out. They should probly just sell the pattern so you can cut it out of plywood. The design is really brilliant, after this eventually falls apart, I will make it out of plywood and probly have it for life. BOTTOM LINE, IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO ALL THE STEPS AS MENTIONED ABOVE DO NOT BUY. If you are interested in saving like $200 versus the other guys and are handy with a drill do it.

Very solid if you build it properly. Will work well for my needs. Good product. Great value.

It is a nice looking cabinet and easy to assemble even though the instructions are a little vague. Just be sure to drill small pilot holes when mounting the side panels to the lower section. The screws are very close to the edge and will just strip out the wood if not drilled out first.
