Like: easy to install, magnets are strong so provide security for my screened porch Dislike: material doesn’t seem like it will hold up for too long. Not sure if it’s worth the price. Time will tell. Magnets are strong, which is good and bad since it makes it difficult for a smaller dog to use. Update: 10/3/2022 It’s been a few months and these magnets are superior in strength and the material is stronger than I anticipated. My pup is 60lbs and gives this door a workout. I will be purchasing this item again to ensure a backup as it’s exceeded my expectations for the price. Would highly recommend. 12/15/2023 Still going strong and working good as new. I ordered another one for the other side of my screened porched. Changing my rating from 4 stars to five. I HIGHLY recommend this item.

This is the 2nd Magnador we have purchased. We had the first one for 10-15 years until it finally broke. This is a great product and we highly recommend it. It holds up well to the use by the large dogs we have had over the years. We have had german shepherd mix dogs, border collie mix, beagle and now have a couple of border collie/catahoula mixed pups and the door holds up to them all. It even withstands high winds and stays closed. Again, in our opinion, this is a great product!

Best door of all I have ever used. Love the abiity to lock the door either way (from them going out or them coming in). Very sturdy and even my big dog hasn't damaged this door after many years of use. Bought to more as we added other entrances to other houses. Best brand around compared to others I have tried, lasts way longer - way tougher if you have big dogs running in an out all the time.

A little loud when it opens and falls to close, and my bulldog gets afraid of the noise. If her brother runs through first she goes in. If not, she stays outside and I have to open the door for her. :( Otherwise, it was easy to install and works great!

If your good with a measuring tape and creating right angles, ditch the template. I followed the "destructions" and the pre-drilled screw holes were much too close to the edge of the cut opening.... A couple were even partially exposed. Essentially, the opening could have been made small enough to accommodate both the door AND more securely positioned screw holes. The door itself seems to be built well enough and handles my 55lb American Bulldog but only time will ultimately tell this. Let's see - it's much larger [in perspective] than it appears in the pics. I can crawl through it (5' 11", 215lbs) and I realize that it didn't need to be so big to work for my pooch. Also, if all things that go bump in the night bother you, this door will not help you sleep. That is, of course, your dog likes to use it like a revolving door (mine does). It is quite loud but once I became used to its distinct sound, it no longer registers on my radar in a manner which adversely interrupts my sleep. I guess last but not least, do not expect the locks to stop anything smarter than your dog. I'm brainstorming ideas on how to fortify it (without making it too unattractive) in the event we leave home for an extended period of time. I'll try and remember to get around to posting results if my efforts result in noteworthy improvement. Hope this helped!

Pro: Magnets are sturdy and closure is way more weather-proof than my pet safe dog door. Cons: Much bigger than I anticipated. I'll have to finish the inside manually to get rid of the sharp, ugly edges. Screws are NOT Phillips head.

I purchased to replace a door that was over 10 years old, and now with a new 'beast' we needed a new one. The price is worth it for the longevity it provides...standing up to direct sunlight and open air conditions (it is an exit to our pool enclosure) It's a perfect it, matching to exact measurement,s and replacement was completed within 10 minutes!

Apparently they taste good because the dogs ate it and pooped it out
