starts a completely dead battery the honda crv

This is so awesome. I have an old Dodge Grand Caravan (2002) with a dying battery that needs replacing. Sometimes when my battery has died overnight, I set this up and away it starts. Just remember to charge this starter after each use when you have a bad battery. My battery is not deader than dead but it is almost dead.

i did not see a charging port. how do you charge it? also is it a ec5 port style for start jump clamps?

This is a USB type C connection. It is an ec5 port style for jump clamps with one round plug and a round plug with a squared off end

How long are the cables? i have a 2003_chrysler,lhs.. battery posts are about 13 inches apart

You can put the black cable on any metal that is not painted it does not have to be clamped on the battery only the red positive has to be clamped into the battery.

will this work on a 12 volt winch used for pulling vehicles up onto a car trailer?

No, this will give a momentary burst of amperage to start the stated engine size, as a boost along with the vehicle battery. It isn't large, therefore, it doesn't hold the same amount of juice a full-size battery will hold and can't provide a continuous current for running high-amp draw equipment like a winch.
