Great, comfortable shoes
I also have the Biom Hybrid's as well. Ecco makes some very comfortable shoes that really perform well. I was a dedicated Adidas wearer for many years, but it seems the latest offerings run very narrow. I used to just buy 12 1/2 and be good to go. That is no longer the case, so when these were available for such a good price I had to try. Price was always the main factor for not going Ecco. Now that I have 2 pairs, I'm sure they will be my go to shoe for the future. Nice, supple leather, and a wide toe box is exactly what I need. These shoe fit the bill perfectly.

Appeared to be very nice quality, typical of Ecco
Ran a little too big otherwise I would have kept them. Had to send back. Appeared to be very nice quality, typical of Ecco. I'm a 10.5-11 in most cases so I rolled the dice with the 45's. I have the first edition of Ecco Biom's in 44 and they fit great. Point being I think the 44's fit like a 10.5 and the 45's fit like an 11.5 despite the range they provide in the US size.

Great Golf Shoes!
First of all, let me say that I own 6 pairs of ECCO golf shoes including these, so obviously I am biased in my review. I have been playing golf for about 45 years and have worn all different brands. My favorite for many years used to be FootJoy and I always wanted to try ECCOs, but was deterred by the prices always being north of $200 a pair. I discovered a pair a couple years ago when they were closing out last year's models for right at $100 and decided it was time I owned a pair. The rest is history as like I said, I now own 6 pairs. This was my first pair with spikes (I have since bought another pair with spikes) as I was looking for something to use in the very muddy conditions my home course often has to get me a little extra traction. These are great looking shoes and are extremely comfortable. My only complaint is I ordered my usual European size 44 and these seem to be a little larger (loose on my feet) than my first 4 pairs of ECCOs. They are not too big, that I feel like I could wear a 43, but if your US size is more like 10 than a 10-1/2, you should probably consider the EU 44.

Very happy with the shoes so far
The shoe fits well and the quality seems good. I would give it a 5 if i had more use out of them.

44 fits more like an 11 or 11/half
44 fits more like an 11 or 11/half. I would need to go a full size down in ecco shoes as a true 10. Too bad I had to send back .

sizing review 47/13-13.5
These are best most-comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn. I am sure there are some other good quality shoes available out there for half the price, but none would ever be confused with ECCOs. Having decided I was willing to pay the premium for the quality, the biggest issue became whether I felt comfortable picking the size without being able to try them on. The shoes I picked ended up fitting perfectly so let me comment on sizing issues. I am exact size 13 (on those measuring devises found at shoe stores). I ordered size 47 (13-13.5) and I would say it is snug but not too small - half size less would be too small; half size bigger I think would be fine. In other words, the size 47 (13-13.5) is good fit for true size 13 but if I were a 13.5, I think these would be too small. Width is good for me but I have pretty narrow feet so I would say if you have wide foot you might have some issues. Leather is very soft and wear does break them in and loosen up the fit.
