Worked for my Asus N56. I believe this battery has a longer life than the original (had the original for 5-6 years) but I also changed my power settings during that time, so maybe I'm just using the battery more efficiently. With a full charge and 'economy' power settings, I can get 3-4 hours of moderate use (internet, word processing and streaming music).

Excellent product. Exact same battery as the original except without Asus stamped on charger. Wish it lasted more then 3 hours. UPDATE 3-23-2020: This battery has never charged more then 97% which tells me it's not a new battery.

Bought this to replace my original Asus battery that I've had for 5 years which would only last for about 30 minutes under light load. Was skeptical of this one at first because this one only lasted about an hour and a half on a light load when the original would last for multiple hours on medium-heavy load when new. I don't use this computer very often and just needed something THAT WOULD WORK. However, I went on a trip and now it wont charge at all, stays at 0%. I don't think there is a worse battery you could buy. I've fully charged it MAYBE 5 times. Absolutely atrocious for a battery to last less than 6 months being used maybe once a month. I regret throwing my 5 year old battery away for this mess. For clarification, this was after trying multiple fixes to see if it was the battery or the computer including resetting and reinstalling battery drivers both manually and automatically, running my BIOS Battery checker to diagnose possible issues, changing out the ac adapter, and any number of other software and hardware checks. Done everything I could to check this thing besides paying more than the battery is worth to get it checked by someone with tools I don't have. Maybe I got a one off, but unless I somehow get a replacement that works, I'd highly recommend NOT getting this one. Unless you want to have your battery to not working when you need it.

My laptop is almost 7 years old and the original battery would not hold a charge so my it dies every time it was unplugged. I’ve had this new battery for a few months now and it works great. Compatible with my laptop cord and I’m happy to say my laptop is portable again.

Fit perfectly.Apart from label could not tell the difference from original,finish was that good. On the the performance of the battery I cannot say as yet, as it has only been few days now.

I replaced my old ASUS laptop battery since it wouldn’t even hold a charge anymore. This new one fits perfect and so far is working great! Saved me from replacing an otherwise great laptop.

This replacement battery would not charge at all and didn't have any charge to start with (completely dead.) Sent it back for another one, same story. But my original Asus battery still works and still charges a little. --Either this batter IS NOT for the Asus N56JN despite the listing, or the manufacturer has a VERY high defect rate.

I bought this battery after my last replacement battery from a different seller died after 2 years. So far this battery is holding its charge, fit perfectly, and was affordable.
