I've been using it for a few weeks now and have gotten used to it and find it comfortable. It is less comfortable to lie on your back because the velcro at the back is relatively bulky, but I've gotten used to that and it doesn't really bother me anymore, also the benefit of it is that it doesn't slip like other masks. I am a little disappointed it is not completely black out. You don't notice it at night, but early sunrise in summer months mean if you tend to wake at those times & try to get back to sleep, it's more like a dark grey than blackout view. I had wanted blackout. The material is very soft and comfortable. If you secure it tightly so it doesn't budge it tends to flatten and press on your eyes and is uncomfortable, so I secure it a little loosely. It means it does move a bit during sleep, but not a whole lot. I notice now it seems to give me a positive psychological effect now when I put it on, in that instantly I can feel my body switch into relaxed sleep mode! Overall I am happy and just dropped one star because of less comfort lying on my back and the issue with it being 'greyout' rather than blackout.

Soft and comfortable. Kept light out when I was in Motorhome where it can get light quite early and so was able to sleep instead of being up early. Good fit - is adjustable for different head circumferences. Ideal product with prompt service and delivery.

I'm a product designer and quite particular when it comes to sleep masks. I rarely write reviews but this was one I feel I needed to share for others benefit. The Good The mask is comfortable to sleep in, it is in fact cotton, there is no 'plastic against the skin' hence no moisture buildup or sweatiness. The tall form factor is appealing - both practically and psychologically. It is light to wear, stays in place, easy to fit, and it looks and sits nicely on the bedside table. That's the good stuff. The Bad The light blocking is not blackout by any measure. Blackout should mean blackout. On a relative scale to other sleep masks, with 100% being full blackout, this scores maybe 85%. Not terrible, but not blackout. And to be clear, I am talking about the light leakage through the layers and fabric of the mask, not leakage around the edges. 85% blackout may be fine for you, but it isn't for me. To put it in practical terms, with my eyelids closed, while wearing the mask, I can still perceive light. I do have sensitive eyes but how much variability is there on that really? Unfortunately this makes it a showstopper for me personally. I may try adapting it - taking it apart and inserting additional blackout material - to improve it, as I do really like the other aspects of it. More minor issues are the nose bridge, which leaks some light on my particular nose, and as others have commented, the velcro appears prone to failure, although this can be alleviated by being careful when pulling it apart. Overall it is disappointing because this is very close to being the perfect sleep mask. I'm unfortunately docking it 2 stars because the entire point of a blackout sleep mask is to actually block light.

I already have blinds up in my house which still allow some light to pass through and my bedroom has east facing windows which means I catch the morning sun al the time - without the expense of replacing the blinds with thicker curtains I thought i'd pick up a sleep mask instead and wow, does it help! Instead of waking up with the sun i've found i'm getting at least an extra hour of uninterupted sleep in the morning which certainly helps in feeling fresh for a day at work. Because the mask is made of cotton it doesn't make your head sweaty and uncomfortable when wearing it and has a velcro seal that allows you to adjust it to the size of your head., you can easily sleep without it slipping off.

Got a facemask as I struggled sleeping. Mask was comfortable and soft. Good range of tightness for my head size. Felt nice and cool when sleeping. However, after about 8-9 months of use the fluffy part of the Velcro system has gotten flat and doesn't really stick to the tooth part of the Velcro anymore. Now waking up without the mask on. Surprisingly I'm sleeping even better, but maybe that's because my girlfriend left me and she used to store like a drunk bear. Overall 4/5 - would be 5/5 if the Velcro was still effective.

I bought this in 2019, it still is great condition. My 5YO who has high ADHD now uses this and she goes right to sleep at night. Light blocking 5/5, comfort 5/5, adjustment 5/5, size is perfect, material is great! 7 years and it’s still in great condition

Ich habe mir diese Maske speziell für eine Fahrt im Schlafabteil der Rumänischen Bahn gekauft, da dort wegen der Notbeleuchtung und evtl. nicht ganz dichten Rollos Licht im Abteil sein kann. Hier meine Erfahrung nach einer Nacht im Zug: Das Gute (Funktion & Komfort): Passform: Die Maske ist aus Baumwolle und sehr weich. Sie schmiegt sich gut an das Gesicht an, ohne zu drücken. Auch als Seitenschläfer hat sie mich nicht gestört. Herkömmlichen Schlafmasken sind bei mir oft verrutscht oder die Bänder an der Seite haben Druckstellen gebildet sowie etwas gestört. Das ist mir bei dieser Maske nicht passiert. Dunkelheit: Sie erfüllt ihren Zweck zu 100%. Besonders gut finde ich den Stoff am Nasenflügel – bei vielen anderen Masken kommt dort Licht rein, hier ist es wirklich sehr Dunkel und kein Licht kommt rein. Perfekt zum Verpacken: Ein riesiger Vorteil für Reisende ist, dass die Maske zu 100% flexibel ist (keine starren Schalen). Man kann sie winzig klein zusammenfalten, knüllen und einfach in eine nicht gefüllte Ecke im Koffer stecken. Sie nimmt im Gepäck quasi keinen Platz weg. Der Kritikpunkt (Geruch): Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil die Maske direkt nach dem Auspacken einen wahrnehmbaren, chemischen Eigengeruch hatte. Da man das Produkt direkt auf der Nase trägt, ist das störend. Ich habe sie einen Tag lang offen liegen lassen (lüften), danach war der Geruch glücklicherweise komplett verflogen. Fazit: Wer sie für eine Reise kauft, sollte sie nicht erst im Zug auspacken, sondern schon 1-2 Tage vorher lüften oder kurz per Hand waschen. Danach ist es eine hervorragende, platzsparende Schlafmaske, die ich auf Reisen jetzt immer dabei habe.
