This sharp edged knife is well made. It is a little smaller than I expected and does not have a locking mechanism on it. But I use it to open packages, cut rope and cable and such, and it works great. The blade is very sharp and it's easy to handle. It feels like it will last a long time.

I bought this knife for sharpening pencils. It is a beautiful wood color and looks good on my writing desk, and it it so small that it easily slips into a writing bag, pencil case, or coin pocket without any notice. Feather light compared to even my Swiss Army Knife. Probably too small for whittling anything more than writing utensils.

It’s not very big so it gets lost in those ants used in the new “ high paying jobs Pres. Trump is creating LOL. It’s definitely shar as all “buck knives are. It has plastic sides so they won’t rot overs out. My first gen of this style knife had wood sides requiring boiling occasionally it also had a ring for belt line attachment. This one does not have that feature. We don’t carry change in this generation so it won’t get lost in the stuff. Still if you need to open any Amazon box this little tool will make quick work of those news light weight boxes . I love this little guy . It has a good home in my work jeans. Small but really sharp blade.

I use this knife constantly and carry it with me every day. When I do forget it my day is upset; that's how much I need this knife. I have a sharpener that I use often. The metal in this knife does not hold an edge as I would have hoped it would. It sharpens quickly however and is built perfectly. The handle material is top notch as well. It is not easy to find single, small bladed pocket knives that are worth having. This knife is well worth the price. I just read some of the one-star reviews on this knife and will say the following: Yes, the knife is marked with the word China on the base of the blade. The other side of the blade is marked 'BUCK 379' with a copyright mark. The handle has a metal inset marked 'BUCK'.I have used this knife quite some time now and it NEVER had or has any rust on it! Unless Buck makes a better model in the future with this single blade length, I would purchase it again. Update: It is now March of 2015 and I'm still using this knife every day! I sharpen it constantly with a RADA Mfg. Co. Quick Edge Knife Sharpener. These sharpeners are handy, work quickly but will, over time, cause a cupped area in the rear of the blade. If you can live with that, which I can, then this will keep your knife very sharp. As I said, this steel does not hold an edge very long, so quick easy sharpening is my answer to this problem. I also would like to repeat my statement that I would buy this knife again. It is the perfect size for me. Paul Simone

Solid small knife that you will actually carry around and use. After trying different multi tools and gadgets I never carry around because they are heavy and bulky, I realized most of the time I really just need something to cut open a package, box, tape or zip tie. This tiny knife has a beautiful classic design, the folding/locking mechanism feel nice and solid, and comes very sharp. It is so light you will forget you are even carrying it.

Hallo Sehr gut verarbeitet, aber nur als Deko zu gebrauchen. Dafür ist der Preis für meinen Geschmack zu hoch. Werde es trotzdem verschenken.

Piccolo ma la giusta misura per portarlo sempre in tasca ben affilato lo porto sempre con me ottimo per svolgere i compiti quotidiani tipo aprire le reti delle rotoballe o i sacco di mangime
