I purchased this item to assist me in making my own data cable for my 3D printer. I was buying the replacement cable from the manufacturer and had to wait for it to arrive. After purchasing this tool along with the wire and connector ends, I can make many cables without having to wait and at a much lower cost than trying to find the pre-made cable. This tool is very easy to use and works exactly as described. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to create their own computer type connector cables.

I ruined many connectors until I got the hang of this tool. It's a pain to get everything in place so the crimp turns out correct but, it's a low cost tool and does a great job for the price. Crimps just fine once you get the feel for it.

Just the tool that make the job welcome at first time.

Not a pro tool. Press plates remain parallel enough. Does the job but not with heavier ribbon cable. Inexpensive and effective for infrequent use.

Good item Abit to much packing oil on tool

I have a biqu b1 se plus printer, it has a connection issue with the ribbon cable. I contacted their tech support, when I never got a response. I purchased these connectors. Made the repair a breeze, and now no connection problems now. I'm very happy.
