Better than gel. Only need one coat of color. The top coat fry’s instantly & has a shine that lasts for weeks.

Greatest polish I've ever used! Stays on a couple weeks and looks gorgeous even after doing dishes. I love the brush shape. Less mess on edges.

Color not quite as pictured
The color appears to be pinkish red, in actuality it is red-red, with maybe the smallest hint of orange. I will keep just in case I should need such a shade, but the search for the desired color is back on. I absolutely love the Essie gel couture, it lasts just as long as gel polish but removal is as easy as a regular polish. I do use a base coat, either OPI or Essie.

I like the Essie brand
Essie gel so far is my favorite, but honestly, I haven’t tried other brands. It stays on for at least a week for me and I am really rough on my hands.

Very mediocre
As expected of a vegan product, it is subpar. It isn't even close to "longwear"; if you work with your hands at all (even lightly) you will be redoing your nails in 2 days from all the chipping. Color is nice and it dries quickly, but it is worse than standard cheap nail polish. The intentions are pure, but the execution is lacking.
