I bought this for a couple reasons, and at the top of my mind were two things: support my back better and work and lose some flab. WHOA. This belt does both way better than I ever could have dreamed. I've owned several different waist trainers/belts over the years, but none of them match this one. First, it is the largest one I've ever had: I mean, this thing goes right up to the top of my hip bones, and that's from just beneath the girls. When I tell you there's complete coverage, I am not joking. Second, it does not fold over. Ever. At all. My job is nothing but bending, moving, turning, stretching, and I kid you not, people, this belt never, ever folded or shifted, not even a little. It is EXCELLENT if you're trying to improve your posture or want to take some of the load off your lower back. The construction is so sturdy, that I don't care how much you sweat or move, this belt is not going to lose constriction or position whatsoever. You better mean it where you put it, that's all I can say. Third, THE SWEATING. SO MUCH WATER. You will indeed sweat your a$$ off wearing this belt, and that's a good thing. The way they've made the adjustable straps that encircle you are incredibly strong and hold the belt absolutely close to your body. Even if you just go for a casual walk, you're going to sweat. A lot. Though I've not yet used it in a gym, I do use it daily in a warehouse, which is a pretty close second to what 'd be doing at a gym. I'm soaked in this thing after even a fun walk around my neighborhood. Fourth, the belt is made a lot like corsets from back in the day. You will sit up straight; you will walk talk. You will answer the door with posture formal enough to greet the Queen Mum. All the times your Mama or ya Gran'mama told you to sit up straight will seem like nothing once you put this on, because you don't have a choice. This belt is just the ticket if you're a cubicle dweller who spends the day hunched over a keyboard. You can't and won't slump over in this belt. It simply won't let that happen. Fifth, and this is my favorite part, you will feel it AFTER you take the belt off. This fact impressed and surprised me. Typically, after removing a waist trainer, I feel the effects for a little bit before it fades. Not with this belt: I feel it for hours afterward. My abs will be sore, like I've done a ton of sit-ups, and I can still feel the belt's impact on my obliques, too. In forcing the body to maintain a good posture, this belt is engaging the abs all the time, and WOW, you'll know it in a hurry. I can't say enough good things about this product. My lower back is super happy whenever I use it, and I feel lighter overall just because the strain is being taken off my back for a change. This waist trainer is unbeatable for support, for sweating, and for just making me feel better; I hope it does the same for y'all. I have lost some weight (I've only just gotten started), and I have all the confidence that this belt has definitely played a role in that. GET IT. TRY IT. You'll see what I mean pretty quickly!

This product is very easy to use! I got this because I wanted to tone and shape my abdomen. I really like that this offers back support because I have a terrible posture so this really helps during workouts. I’ve noticed that after using this that not only does my abdomen sweat it makes my entire body sweat even more. It doesn’t feel suffocating, but I feel like the material on the inside could be better. Such as, it absorbs the sweat instead of you getting to wipe it off and see it. It’s also slightly uncomfortable when you wear it without clothes underneath, but it’s not a huge con. I also didn’t smell anything weird when I first started using it. This was also very firm, I used it for spin classes, did multiple workouts, and I never had to readjust it. Overall, a great product that does the job, and I highly recommend it! For reference, I'm 130lbs and my waist is 27 inches. I got the small and it fits perfectly.

I purchased this waist strap because I hated the feeling of my lower tummy fat just hanging loose. I felt like I needed it to be tightened and contained. But I got some added surprise benefits from this that I couldn't have anticipated. First, the basic pros and cons. Pros: 1. High Quality Material. This is built well. The velcro is powerful. The inside of the band is soft and comfortable. The design is really good and works exactly as it should. I'm SO impressed with how well it's made and how inexpensive it was to buy. It honestly feels like it should have been sold for $40 or $50 rather than under $20. 2. Certainly feel the extra sweat and work on the belly during workouts. It FEELS like I'm burning fat. 3. It slims you up if you wear it under clothes. Cons: There's kind of a weird smell that I'm not a fan of, but it's faint, and if you wear a shirt over the strap you can't smell it anymore. I'm very sensitive to smells so not everyone is going to have the same issue with it that I do. Surprise/unexpected benefits: 1. Helping to correct my back posture; I work at a desk all day and find myself slouching constantly, but this actually helps me sit up straight naturally. Without having to think about it. 2. Limits my eating; I had no idea this would be the case, but I can't over eat while I'm wearing this Waist Trainer. I can EAT, don't get me wrong, I just can't over eat, like the multiple servings I used to. This is an amazing benefit. It just shows me that I don't have room for the extra food (that I didn't previously need). I highly recommend this product to anyone who would find the things I mentioned useful. I absolutely plan on purchasing a few more so that I always have one on hand.

If you’re looking for something to support your back & shape your waist - this is it. It’s comfy, doesn’t ride up and breathable. Doesn’t stretch very much- keep that in mind when choosing a size.

I’ve had this for a few months and decided to write a review finally. At first I loved it. But after a few uses, it started to stretch out. The velcro started falling apart. It still works, I can still put it on, but every time I put it on and take it off, pieces of the velcro come off. I’m careful in the care of it. It’s washed with my other workout clothes in an HE washed on low, in cold water, and hung the dry. It also curls on the edges after a few uses and it makes it hard to keep straight on my body. Despite all this, I will say that it provides *excellent* support and pain relief in my lower back while bike riding (still). But I hardly rely on it for extra sweating and toning anymore. My 3 stars is not reflective of the following statement, but of the use I have gotten out of the and then material it’s made of. The following is not part of the review but a warning. You have to be careful when it stretches out not to pull it to right to compensate. I did this (stupidly as I might add because this isn’t my first workout waist trainer and I know better) and upon removing it, I almost vomited, and then had to stumble inside to put my feet up before I passed out. It was an idiotic move, and like I said, I know better. It was a mistake. Don’t be like me.

Overall, I am content with this purchase. I do think it is a quality product for the price. I ordered an XL, which was true to size. After fiddling with the Velcro straps a bit it was very comfortable to just wear around. My lumbar felt very supported and my posture is great! The compression was just what I needed. I had to loosen it to drive though as it was too tight on my ribs sitting in the driver’s seat. I do wish it were longer in the front. Either it’s on my waist correctly and there’s the lower tummy pooch, or it is lower down on my abs and it’s bulging over the top. The back rides up a bit like other reviews said but its not bothersome enough to take off another star. I actually fell asleep in it on the first day; it was that comfortable laying down. Id recommend this product to my sister for sure, but it could be improved by being longer in the front.
