365 by Whole Foods Market, Sport Lotion Mineral Sunscreen, SPF 30, Water Resistant (80 Minutes), 6 Fl Oz

Bought this about two months ago, and am almost out. I have spent full days at high altitude hiking or at a lake. This works very well. The trick is to rub it on your hands before applying- that warms it up and thins it out for easier spreading. Yes- it is mineral based so there will be a white cast...duh...but I can't understand people saying it's not working unless they are not covering themselves. It also will not taste bad when you place it on your lips, nor will it sting your eyes. It works wherever it is applied, and it stays on, even in the water- I agree with the previous review that states that it is even hard to get off in the shower. the only sunscreen better than this is Thinksport due to it's hylauronic acid content. If you don't want white cast- go soak yourself in some chemical based sunscreen. Any mineral sunscreen is going to have white cast unless it is tinted with chemicals.

No sunburns, easy to apply. EWG rated this well AND it's affordable so a win, win! Will continue to purchase if they keep the same formula.

This works pretty good, but I will say, like with any sunscreen, put it on *before* you go out in the sun. If you go out in the sun and then put it on, it will basically trap the heat in and the burn has already set in. I am very fair-skinned and burn quickly, i barely tan so I do use sunscreen when I am outside for a long period of time. The only complaint I have is that this does have a pretty strong white cast to it, but if you work it well enough and are patient in putting it on, it works fine, and has protected me even if I have gone swimming with it on. It is very water proof and does not come off easily, I do actually have to scrub it off in the shower. The other nice this about this brand is that it seems more afforadable than some of the other low-tox sunscreens. I am not sure how "clean" the ingredients are but it seems more safe and low tox than most at the local store and still pretty reasonable in cost compared to some of the other brands.

I am not one to write reviews but this one is deserving. I’ve used this sunscreen on 3 different occasions and have been burnt every time. I have fair skin so I applied liberally each time and reapplied but the product is ineffective. My husband also used this sunscreen and got burnt as well it does not work at all. It is also extremely thick and does not rub in well it leaves a white cast on your skin. Attached photo is my splotchy sunburn where I applied two thick coats of this sunscreen with no success.

We used these when we went to San Diego on a trip. They were great because they were portable and you could clip it to your purse, which was ideal in the hot sun. They seem to be effective and I don’t really use sunscreen and generally buy mineral sunscreen these days, but this was a goodbye and did the trick.

Admittedly, I originally bought this sunscreen because of the little bottle that it is in with the attached caribener to attach to my backpack. In the future, this will be the brand of mineral sunscreen that I buy. I really like the way that it feels when I apply it. The texture is very smooth and it glides on. It protects my skin and it has organic sunflower oil added to the formula and 80% organic ingredients overall. I like the sunflower oil because it helps to keep my skin from drying out from the harsh sun. I also like the natural smell that this sunscreen has because of no added fragrances.

I brought the 365 by Whole Foods Market Sport Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 with me on a recent trip to Mexico, and it performed really well. We spent a lot of time outside in strong sun—beach, pool, walking around—and this sunscreen held up great. I applied it as directed and didn’t get burned at all, which is always the real test for a sunscreen. It goes on fairly easily for a mineral sunscreen, and I like that it’s water resistant for up to 80 minutes, which makes it great for swimming or sweating. It stayed effective even after being in and out of the water. The lotion also didn’t feel overly greasy, which is something I appreciate when using sunscreen throughout the day. Overall, this worked exactly how I hoped it would. If you’re looking for a reliable mineral sunscreen for travel, beach days, or outdoor activities, this one definitely gets the job done. I’d use it again without hesitation.

I’m skeptical to using it cause I used it once and I did break out but I will give it another try cause it’s supposed to be good for your skin we’ll see..
