PERFECT - very sturdy - clever lock - easily holds 21' charger cord - red decal peels off easily
Have Model Y. Live in condo with underground garage. Did not want to keep charger cord in car since you really only need it when home (Superchargers have their own cords for your use). Wanted strong safe lockable charger that was easy to use. THIS IS IT. A couple of hints: (1) the lock works with a key and a press. Once you unlock it, and release the handle lock the lock again. Then all you need to do when you close it is turn the handle and it will lock automatically. (2) I ordered it and it did not come as soon as I expected. The moment I contacted the company, via Amazon, they shipped another which I had in a few days. (3) The red decal that covers the front of the box and that, no one seems to like, came off easily. I just started at a corner and peeled it away. 9/22/22 ORDERED SECOND BOX for second parking space. THIS ONE HAD RED PAINTED ON IMAGE INSTEAD OF REMOVABLE DECAL. I covered the RED paint with TWO layers of white contact paper. Still very happy with box. Use several times a week. It is inside condo garage, not exposed to rain. Both boxes keyed the same, probably all use same key, which is nice for me since I only carry one key for two boxes, but not really secure, if that is an issue for you. Tried one of the competing black glass front charger boxes with combination lock, but cannot read combination in dark garage even with flashlight. Lock is too small and reflective. Returned this one. I searched for a long time and this is PERFECT for my needs and well constructed and strong.

Nice Box
This is a very well-made box. The powder coated finish looks great The door is connected with a grounding strap to the case. The inside of the box is very well-made and organized . The box has a built-in gutter. The locking mechanism is a handle. It pulls out, then turns. it has ports on the bottom for mounting your conduit. The cabinet is better than anything I found on eBay and without the worry. i’m using this with a Tesla wall connector, which has a 20+ foot cable. This box is more than adequate to store the connector and cable. this box is more built for conduit coming out the bottom or you’d have to flip the door and cover the ports that are not needed if you were going to use it with the conduit coming out the top. I not being a nitpicker found some of the corner welds on the gutter to have some small holes which can easily be filled with silicone or the use of something like JB Weld but I’m talking very small. 5 stars

Check the lock before installing.
I purchased the BMZX for Tesla Charger Station Box because my Universal Tesla charger was going to be installed outside, and I needed something to protect it from the harsh sun in the high desert where I live. After using it for two months, here are my thoughts: Initial Impressions: When I first received the BMZX Charger Station Box, I was impressed by its size and sturdiness. The panels are not thin, which speaks to its great build quality. It looked massive but very well-built. Usage Experience: I use the box every other day when I charge my Tesla, and it has met all my expectations. The primary function of this box is to encase and protect the charging station, which it does very effectively. Key Features: Lock and Space: One of the standout features is the lock and the ample space it provides. Unlike many other products, this one comfortably fits the Universal Tesla Charger. Durability: It has held up well in the desert weather, which is quite dusty. The box keeps my charger secure and has air vents to maintain a cool temperature for the charger. Issues Encountered: Initially, I had a significant issue with the lock and key. The lock was stuck, and it took about 10 minutes of twisting and jiggling the key to get it to turn. This was frustrating enough that I considered a partial refund. However, once the lock started working properly, I decided to keep the box, and it has been working fine ever since. Tips for Other Users: Check the Lock: Before installing, make sure the lock works. If it doesn’t, try jiggling the key until it turns. Installation: Use a template to drill the holes as the box is quite heavy. You might need two people for installation. Customer Service: I contacted Amazon when I initially had trouble with the lock. Amazon was very helpful, and although reaching out to companies on Amazon can sometimes be tricky, Amazon’s customer service always provides reliable support. Final Thoughts: I would recommend the BMZX for Tesla Charger Station Box to others, despite the initial lock issue. After resolving that, it has proven to be an excellent accessory for my Tesla. It’s a must-have if you plan to install an EV charger outside.

door lock and hinge is not sturdy
it is good to protect my charger for outdoor. The quality need to improve, the door hinge and the lock look cheap quality. It is a bit overprice for this box.

Great addition to your EV charging needs
Love this outdoor EV charger enclosure. It’s very sturdy and it holds all of the cabling and outlet for our EV charger. Makes the outside of our house very tidy, compared to what we had before and it feels it will protect our charger from outside weather and dust and debris from getting on the charger and plugs. Our cable is quite long and thick but we are able to get it in just fine. The red decal is nice, might be a bit too bright for some but it’s ok for me. Prior to putting it up on the wall we took the orange panel from the inside out to customize how we want our charger to sit, so we drilled some holes and bolted them in, it stays in place and it’s very sturdy.

Exactly What I Needed
Needed a weather resistant charging box for my Tesla home charging set up. I only have a carport available so I needed something that could be mounted outside with little to no protection from the elements (I live in Florida, so sun and rain are the main issues. The BMVX Charger Station Box was perfect. Much larger and heavier than I realized, so my electrician made a frame to support it (rather than having to mount it on the house itself) when he was installing the Nema 14-50 outlet. The box has as plenty of room inside for the Tesla Mobile Charger and cord. It came with a separate cable charger holder (nice bonus I didn’t expect); but I haven’t attached it inside the box yet. Don’t know if I will, as the charger end hangs nicely on top of the charging cable (see photo). I love that it is lockable and everything fits in the box neatly when the car isn’t being charged. My only complaints: 1. The cost seemed a bit high. But after searching for weeks for something that would work for my situation, this turned out to be perfect and far better than I expected. I guess you get what you pay for. 2. The bright red decal on the front of the box. I’ve read other reviewers that said it could be ‘peeled’ off; but I don’t see how. Mine is painted on and the only option I can see is painting over it. I don’t know why it’s on there as it doesn’t have any type of brand name on it for advertising. Just a huge red and white decal that screams, "This is where the EV charging equipment is kept". Wish it was less obnoxious. Other than that, I’m thrilled with it and would definitely recommend it to other EV owners.

Sturdy and high quality build
High quality builds. I am very happy with the product. Even though I need to do custom cut to make it work for my EV charger, the box is sturdy and strong. Only one thing that I suggest the manufacturer consider is to install a brush cover to block bees and other insects to migrate inside the box.

Follow-up Review
This is a follow-up review how I made this box work for me to mount a Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector in an outdoor, covered carport location. I first removed and scrapped or discarded the guide, cable organizer and charger holder. I instead attached the more durable black cable organizer which BMZX had included. Photo #1 shows the Tesla Wall Connector wirebox mounted to the orange backplate of the BMZX Charging Cable Organizer Box. I used Carlon flexible PVC conduit with a Carlon LT43F Watertight connector to connect the Tesla wirebox. Because the BMZX Charging Cable Organizer Box is metal, it must be grounded. I used one THHN-STR-8AWG Green Copper Wire with an ILSCO CTL-8AWG Crimp Connector, which I passed through the top wirebox mounting screw for the ground connection. Photo #2 shows where I used a white 4" non-metallic round electrical fixture cover to cover the bottom hole in the BMZX box. I used a 1 3/8" hole saw to cut the hole in the cover, then filed the hole open just enough so when I slid up the cover, it would cover the hole to keep out insects. Photo #3 shows where I used nylon screen held in place with a magnet at each end to cover the vent holes, again to help keep out insects. Photo #4 shows that the box will hold all 24 feet of the Tesla charger cable in place with the charging handle stowed in its position in the right side of the Tesla Wall Connector. Hope you find this informative.
