How to set the alarm set point? My device didn't come with instructions.

Press ALERT for 4 seconds. Press C/F Adj to adjust. Press SET to set. HI-AL blinking on sets high temp, LO-AL blinking sets low. Note: there is no down button, you have to go all the way around again. Press ALERT afterwards to confirm. Press MAX/MIN to display max/min temp. Remove battery to reset.

It is not very loud and was disappointed with it as the freezer is located in the garage attached to the house. If sound level is important don't buy it.

Why does the display just say "LL.L" for the freezer temp? i didn't get instructions with mine.

LL.L shows when the sensor isn't plugged in.

Does this device give a daily high and low temp?

The device allows you to display the high and low temps since its last reset.
