Razor Power Rider 360 9 MPH Drifting Trike Ride-On Electric Powered Tricycle, Black, Yellow

To be clear, we have four of these. One was purchased at a big box retailer on clearance in 2014 for my eldest son and while the flag is missing, it legit goes faster and still works. I purchased a second one via Amazon one or two summers ago for my autistic nephew who really enjoys the sensory movement of swings and was working on “real tricycles” at school, but who would fight with my son over his trike. I read reviews and knew it was slower and that was totally okay with me. In the past year, we unfortunately lost the hardware that keeps the seat on the frame for the original. It is NOT carried at any big box or local stores. (This is NOT the problem for the newest THREE.) That, combined with the increased speed prompted me to order more. The one for my nephew refused to charge within nine months of purchase. So it’s out. Batteries Plus doesn’t carry the fix. I placed an order for two more a few weeks ago. They arrived in seemingly perfect condition shopping and packing and materials wise; however, one of the two just straight up doesn’t work and I already recycled the box upon arrival (Friday is recycling day) and I charged it overnight with no awareness - so I have one that just straight up doesn’t charge. The second new one has a problem with its chain. It will charge perfectly and even hold the weight of 170+lb adults for over thirty minutes - it’ll hold longer for smaller kids. HOWEVER. The chain falls off every other day, which is frustrating. So I have to repair the chain every other day and to be clear: it’s so awesome that while this is an incredible inconvenience and takes time — I am absolutely willing to take the time to fix it to make my kids happy with the only ONE they’re allowed to ride that works. We ALL love these. Adults have fun. Kids have fun. The first still rocks with a 150lb adult on the back of the trike with anywhere from a 40-70lb kid, no problem for maybe twenty minutes. This is against the rules but hey. We also have grown up races. We use these outside in the summer and inside on basement concrete or upstairs LVP - no damage to either and it’s sooooo much fun! I’m very disappointed in the changes that lead to even brand new ones not working but I am working with customer service. And again. The one from six years ago works better than all of the other three. It also has a wonky proprietary charger, which the new ones do not and between seasons I always manage to lose them along with my dryer socks. These are great. I love them. Adults love them. Kids love them. They’re incredible inside and out. Quiet use, long battery life — even works on grass. Excellent value!

My son is 9, soon to be 10 at about 70 pounds, asked for a mini-bike for Christmas. While we like to try to get them things they asked for, this was out of the question becuase of our property and price! I saw this Razor 360 online and the price seemed too good to be true. Went through the reviews and videos and figured to take a shot, plus it would be a total surprise. My dad put it together, so it wasn't in our house, but he said it was easy. He pre-charged the battery for 24 hours, too, so it was ready to go! The trike was a complete surprise and a big hit! He couldn't wait to ride it. The whole day he was riding it in the basement and was having a blast, until it completely froze. The tire wouldn't rotate and their was a clanging noise, I was bummed that it didn't last a day. My dad did a little bit of research and found out the trike can have some minor issues with parts and replacements. So, he took a look at the inside and noticed nothing was broken, but a chain fell off. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for durability. It's now back to working condition and I know how to fix it if it happens again. My kids have had a lot of fun riding this trike. My husband has even said he would ride it if he knew it would hold him! It spins around and picks up a generous amount of speed and is worth the price. Just a note, he has been riding it in our basement (in the process of finishing it, so it's all smooth concrete)...the paved drivewary works as long as it's fairly smooth and flat. We don't recommend hills or rough pavement.

My son loves his 360!!!! The battery dose not last super long, but he gets a good 40+ minutes of play out of it. Which is enough in my book for one day since he has to ride it on our street (it does not work in the grass). Which means I litteraly have to stand in the street with him to watch for cars. We clip a walkie talkie to his shirt so if I see a car turn onto our street I can tell him that he needs to get on the sidewalk without screaming and running down the street like a crazy person. He like the freedom it gives him to be able to go a little further down the street and I like the ability to communicate with him and keep him safe without having to be a helicopter mom. It really does whip around in a 360... I wish i could ride it! The goofy flag falls out all the time, but its not a big deal. I think it main purpose is to add to the visability factor, but he isnt allowed to ride without myself, his dad, his 18 years sister or brother with him. I got this for an amazing deal by adding it to my shopping cart and leaving it there. After a couple of weeks of "watching" the price went from $140 to $99.

This product is awesome and is super fun for a dare devil kid. However, this electric trike lasted 6 months before breaking. As noted by another reviewer: “Underneath the seat, the seating frame connects (two separate pieces). It is this connection point that fails.” The screw became dislodged and the seat disassembled while in use. It literally broke into two pieces as she was riding it. Cool bike, and hopefully can be fixed with a modification. Just watch for this issue and make sure your kid is wearing a helmet!

There is a design flaw (intentionally???) with the frame. Underneath the seat, the seating frame connects (two separate pieces). It is this connection point that fails. The two pieces are joined by one rather short screw that bends easily, which then causes the frame to sag. Shortly thereafter, the sagging connection drags on the riding surface which renders the unit unusable. These two connecting pieces are NOT available (or even identified in the user manual) as replacement parts. When this poorly designed frame sags to the ground (AND IT WILL!), you can either take it to a mechanic (or similar) to have it welded, or just buy another unit (preferred by Razor). All other aspects of the ride-on are ok in my opinion. The self-pedaled version of this has the rider frame in one piece. This unit needs to have the same design. I can see no benefit whatsoever of this unit needing the seating frame to be in two pieces. (04DEC15) Actually, I found a great way to ensure solid connection between the two frame pieces. I went to Home Depot and purchased the thickest bolt and accompanying washers and nut. The factory-bored hole needed to be widened slightly so a power drill managed that. By connecting the two pieces with this industrial-grade bolt, any 'sagging' was immediately corrected. I can attach a picture of this modification, if anyone desires. Now, I can stand on the connecting point and the frame holds together as if it is one solid piece (as it should have been). Since I was able to fully overcome the design flaw (for less than $3), I'm upping my star rating! Granddaughter still has a great big smile on her face EVERY time she rides. In her words, it's her "motorcycle".

Purchased this for my 8 year old's Christmas gift. He loved it and I was convinced it was the best gift I had gotten him. However, after the 1st day, there has been no more fun. Each time he rides this, the chain comes off. Sometimes after a minute, after 20 seconds, or 5 minutes. Very frustrating for him and disappointing for me. I called Razor 866-467-2967 and they said it was a motor issue and sent me a new motor. Husband replaced it but the chain kept coming offer. I called again to report the issue and the lady hung up on me. Called again and was told they will send me yet another part. It's nice that they are doing this at no charge, however, I am not mechanic to know how to fix these parts. It's all very frustrating. Update: As of 8/17/2020, I still have a defective product. Razor has sent chains, motors, ect. My husband keeps replacing and fixing however, the chain pops less than 5 minutes after riding. It has been a waste of money and my son is so disappointed because he really would have enjoyed this. I lowered my star and wish I could give -negative stars. At this point, Razor just wants to continue to send replacement chains, which don't solve the problem. I am so upset that they will not send a replacement or different item. Terrible customer service.

This razor power rider is awesome! I bought it for my 7 yr old son and he loves it. I know in other reviews people were saying it was too fast but its not. I don't think it goes as fast as my son can ride his bike. At first when he started riding it he would spin it a ton, but after about 20 min of riding he figured out how to control it better so it would only spin when he wanted it to. My 3 yr old daughter loves it too, we let her ride on it when the battery is getting low so it goes slower for her. My son can play with this for about an hour before it needs plugged in. The only down side is it needs 12 hrs to recharge, so they get one shot at it per day. But other then that this thing is awesome and is so much cheaper then some of the alternatives. Things to know, if your child is shorter it will be harder for them to reach the peddles. My son is very tall for his age so it works fine for him. I think this is rated for 8+yr olds which I can see is probably to make sure they can reach the peddles. My 3 yr old who is also very tall for her age can just barely touch the peddles but if she spins or turns they come off. Also it is very! stable for a 3 wheeler, I was surprised about that for the speed it can reach when you spin it doesn't show any signs like it would tip. A helmet is a must but that is a given. Great ride on toy!!!!!! 5 stars!

Our kids love this. It's not super fast but fast enough so when you throw a loop and or drift it it feels fast! Perfect for kids. I am 190 lbs and it will go with me on it it's just slower unless on a downward slope but when my sons ride it, it jumps to speed quite quickly and drifts and spins like supposed to. I believe it's about 4-6 bolts to put together and can be done in just a few minutes simply. Great gift and fun.

Mi hijo de 9 años quedó fascinado, cabe perfectamente, tiene buena velocidad y al girar es muy estable. La batería dura aprox 1 hr. Excelente regalo!

Very disappointing. i have seen similar models from other brands doing very well but this one is on the bottom of the list. on a personal note it has ruined a birthday gift for my kid. only reason i purchased it is because it was the only one of it's kind on amazon. But do trust me when i say it really is not worth the money, time nor the deception. i have followed every steps. after assembling it was noted that it would be best if charged for 24 hours before the first use even if the light was green. Then to charge it for 12 hours after each use, which i did and yet the Razor has failed to function as described. pros: -very easy to assemble -it looks cool cons: -battery life is not as stated the ride last about 10-15 minutes -does not go as fast at as mentioned barely reached 3 mph (i was walking faster than it was going) -due to the very low speed does not do any drifts The pros do not even come close of the reason of purchase and ALL the cons are the supposedly reasons of why my kid wanted it. again DO NOT BUY

Increíble triciclo! La batería le dura mucho, carga en poco tiempo y su funcionalidad es buenísima! Además al no pesar mucho se hace cómodo poder llevarlo al parque o donde quieras. Un increíble producto y calidad - precio inmejorrable!
