I've been buying Barilla pasta for many years & it's my family's favorite. I always have it in some form in my pantry because we frequently eat the Penne, Rigatoni, Rotini, Medium Shells, Elbows, Thin Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Linguine, etc. Barilla Pasta is extremely versatile, you can have it with pasta sauce, just tossed in some melted butter, with whatever meat you might have on hand, melt some cheese on it, used in a hotdish (that's Minnesotan for casserole), pasta salads, etc. You can pretty much add some pasta in whatever shape you want with whatever ingredients you have on hand to whip up a quick meal. Barilla passes my picky eaters' taste test every time. Barilla pasta is easy to prepare, just boil some water & dump the pasta in the pot. The boxes clearly state how long they have to cook & they always turn out great & taste the same. I definitely recommend trying all of the different shapes of Barilla Pasta & they do have different types of pasta made with other ingredients if you need them. I trust that the Barilla products I buy will always be the high quality I expect & taste the same every time. That's very important if you have picky eaters to please!

Great price, quality/value, well-known brand, penne is smaller than the regular sizes penne, however cooks well al dente and it is in the paper container, glad it's not sold in the plastic, so packaging is great. Easy to use, it has a great color for corporate pasta, and cook time is 10-11 minutes, which is very standard. Texture is regular as well!

Excellent Quality Penne pasta.Easy to cook 11-12 minutes for Al Dente texture.The size and appearance is perfect. I use these in salads and spaghetti sauce, stews . It's a versatile pasta a change from the regular thin flat pasta.Affordable for great quality pasta! I highly recommend!!
