Gilbert Gooney Bird Of Paradise Bamboo Wind Chime Hand-Tuned Wood Bells Outdoors

I absolutely love this wind chime. I saw one on the back of a boat in the San Diego Harbor, it's little head bobbing in the breeze and turning. I was soo happy to find it here on Amazon. I have it hanging in my backyard and every time I look at it I smile. I love the 'clunky' sound of bamboo at the beach. It has survived a huge storm that whipped it around for 2 days in the biggest storm we have had in a while and it looks exactly the same as the day I hung it up. Highly recommend

these are beautiful chimes assembly was tuff because all the strings were very tight

did not chime at all. The bird is nice though.

The real thing has little relationship to that pictured on the web site. The head droops, and it seems rather fragile and insubstantial. It's not viable for anyone who wants a pleasing a long-lasting wind chime.When I saw it on the site, I thought it was whimsical, but, given all of the above, any whimsy is quickly lost and one is left with a flimsy and even ugly chime.

This is the sweetest wind chime ever. The sound is wonderful. The best part is the bird gently bobs and weaves her head in the wind and seems to keep an eye on what's going on. I keep her in a fairly protected area under a porch and bring her in if it's really stormy. Fun conversation piece. Great gift to myself and for friends.

What a great find! This little gooney bird wind chime has a woody cluckle sound and is absolutely adorable. This one will not go out on the porch because I want to keep it forever -- so he will stay indoors by my window to usher in his woody tones on a summer day.

bought this as a fathers day gift for dad. I always like the sound of bamboo over the horrible metal windchimes. This one draws your eye to the bird each time. My father really likes it.
