Size:12 cm Product description ------------------- HISTORY OF HONEYCOMB NATURAL SEA SPONGES Using a specially designed hooked , Greek harvesters cut only 2/3 of the natural sea sponge leaving the last 1/3 to regrow at the ‘stem’. Any natural sea sponges that are damaged or broken, the pieces will clump together to regenerate. This makes the natural sea sponge very resilient and very sustainable. The natural current will pick up smaller pieces and they will regrow in new locations. We harvest our natural sea sponges in the Sea of Crete and the Aegean Sea.
