Will this machine work without using the nozzles so that hot sauce with seeds can be poured into regular canning jars?

Seeds can clog the inner seal, even if the discharge nozzle is removed. Once the particles clog the inner seal, the liquid will leak out

How do you clean the discharge nozzle and make sure it's completely dry before switching product?

We use very small wire brushes and follow up with a spray of alcohol. We keep the machine disassembled, especially where the spring and teflon tree like plunger are located (just before the discharge nozzle so all parts are dry. Because my wife uses it for lotions and creams that use water we alcohol clean it all to prevent bacteria and mold. We test all her products and it has always come back negative. Good luck.

The unit was used and has a rusty handle

I'm very disappointed. I was so excited to receive my new filling machine only to discover that the unit was clearly pre-owned. The handle rotator was rusted inside the hole. There are scratches along the base of the unit as well. I was so close to returning it immediately but I'm pressed for time, needing to bottle some product to have it ready to for this weekend. I took some time to clean the rusty part and I have no choice but to use this or risk losing out. The unit looks like it's a quality build but I can't help but to feel like I've been cheated out of my money. If the manufacturer reads this can you do us all a favor and actually send out new units when we clearly paid for new units. To make this right at least offer me a discounted price and refund me the difference. This is not right. UPDATE: I was contacted by Sara, the customer service representative who graciously offered me a full refund for my unit or, a replacement. I took a chance on the replacement and I'm glad that I did! The unit came neatly packaged and was definitely new, unlike the previous unit I received. There was a clear difference in the packaging with this new unit as opposed to the unit I received previously. Sara was wonderful during our email correspondence and she should be commended for her service! As for the new unit, it is of a very high caliber as I suspected by inspecting the previous unit. The pump handle feels smooth and after cleaning and testing it with water, the unit has no leaks and functions like a dream! I will definitely make another purchase with this company and this brand as my needs for more equipment grows. Customer service goes a long way and Sara is a rockstar!
