This thing is amazing. I broke my ankle and needed surgery and someone recommended this grab bar to me for helping to get in and out of the shower. I live alone and so was really nervous to take a shower by myself after surgery, but this made it possible! It's expensive but very high quality. I rent an apartment so I wanted to get a shower bar that was sturdy, but wouldn't leave marks on my bathtub. This shower bar is adjustable to the width of your bathtub, and also has padding on the inside so that it won't mess up your bathroom or scratch it. It's metal and VERY sturdy! I'm so glad I bought this, it has made a huge difference in my quality of life and I feel safe showering on my own.

Heavy duty rock solid tub hand rail. Easy install and non destructive install. Perfect solution for additional stable handrail. Can be removed and taken with you if you are traveling somewhere that may not have safety bars. It is heavy and does require some hand strength to tighten down. Things to be aware of- do not over tighten, follow instructions, and this can only be used on the straight portion of tub walls. Good value, high quality.

This bathtub safety rail feels very sturdy and secure once installed. I also liked that it was adjustable and fit well onto the tub without feeling loose or wobbly. Installation was straight forward. On the vertical axis the rail is solidly in place and will not move. However on the horizontal axis parallel to the tub wall the rail does slightly move back and forth. Not terribly but enough so the elderly user notices and is concerned. Curious if there is a way to bolster this so there is no wobbling in any direction.

This safety rail is extremely sturdy. Easy to fit over tub. Easy to use.

This has been wonderful for my husband to get in and out of the shower after hip surgery. I feel terrible that we didn't nhavenit sooner. Very sturdy.

Arrives fully assembled. Very easy to install. Adjustable in a way that is easy (a single knob to turn will tighten or loosen) and automatically accounts for slope sided tubs. The solid rubberized clamps provide for a very sturdy feeling hand rail…. For us (both senior citizens now), this seems a super obvious, extremely affordable safety measure that will probably keep us from feeling like we need to buy into the whole “walk-in” tub thing for maybe another decade.
