ZIPPO 'Z Luxury' Tree of Life
Un altro pianeta rispetto agli Zippo entry level. Se poi osassimo paragonarlo agli Zippo di nuova generazione, per intenderci, quelli con placca decorata applicata sulla cassa liscia e spoglia (anzi, incollata alla bene e meglio, se vogliamo dirla tutta)... beh, ci ritroveremmo catapultati addirittura in un' altra dimensione. Tutt'altra consistenza, peso e, soprattutto, tutt'altra resa estetica ed esperienza tattile: la cassa Armor è notevolmente più spessa e le decorazioni, su tutti e 4 i lati, sono incise in profondità e realizzate in maniera magistrale, niente a che vedere con le classiche, superficiali incisioni al laser e il loro feeling decisamente cheap. Non ho trovato info dettagliate sul materiale utilizzato per la cassa (non è certo argento Sterling) e così, ad occhio, propenderei per una lega argento + ottone: il risultato visivo è decisamente convincente e del tutto simile all'argento con svariati decenni sulle spalle. Uso accendini Zippo da una quindicina d'anni e, in questo lasso di tempo, ho potuto constatare (insieme a tanti altri aficionados del brand) un lento ma costante crollo della qualità di questi magnifici accendini ma, con questo Tree of Life, Zippo mi ha riconquistato alla grande. Certo, per avere ancora uno Zippo di qualità bisogna salire di prezzo in maniera consistente rispetto agli entry level e ciò lascia un pò di amaro in bocca ma, almeno in questo caso, sono soldi ben spesi e giustificati fino all'ultimo centesimo.

Beautiful lighter!
This lighter looks fantastic and works right out of the box after adding fuel. I absolutely love the engraving and the metal is quite shiny, it also has the satisfying Zippo sound when you open and close it. Shipping was slow but it arrived in perfect condition. I'm very happy with my purchase!
