Why do you charge if it's no.t in stock I thought when you pre-ordered your card get charged when its in

Amazon will provide a refund but you have to really be persistent. NYC Collectibles is participating in what can best be described as "shady practices." What they're doing is charging to drop-ship directly from Asia. They "claim" they can't refund this item because "it has already shipped." In reality, they are charging their customers (myself included) for the item once it is put on a container ship in Asia AND THEN they notify you that "your item has shipped" BUT YOU HAVE TO WAIT 5 MONTHS for delivery! Seriously! In other words, they are charging for a pre-order (which surely must be against Amazon's policy?) Amazon finally provided me with a refund but I'm not sure why they're allowing NYC Collectibles to continue this practice. For me, I ordered on December 24th when the product page said "In Stock January 17th." I thought "No problem because I just need it before my son's birthday in April." Then on January 22nd I got a notification that my "ITEM HAS SHIPPED AND WILL ARRIVE ON JUNE 2nd, 2020." Lol. This company is completely out of line and Amazon needs to do something about it. In the meantime, DO NOT BUY from NYC COLLECTIBLES.

is this great quality?

Define “great quality”. It’s mass produced but larger and more detailed than the 3.75 inch figures. It’s good for a $25-35 figure. Other lines like Hot Toys make premium figures that cost hundreds.
