CONSERVE YOUR SWIMSUIT
I use this to take chlorine out of my swimsuits. NEVER USE VINEGAR. Less than 1/2 teaspoon of Sodium Metabisulfite per gallon of water will remove all the chlorine in your suit. The suit retains its color and shape and simply lasts 8-10 times longer. Chlorine remains in the suit even after you're out of the pool and have dried off. The chlorine continues to damage the elastic and lycra of suits. That is why suits that were put away after the summer swim season, even though they were washed are faded and baggy when you get them out the following year. In my case swimming 5-6 times a week soaks the suit in chlorine and in just a few months my expensive suit is shot. Either it has lost its shape or the fabric has deteriorated to the point it starts to be see-through in areas. After each swim I rinse the suit in cold water in a sink and spin the water out. Then at home I throw a pinch of Sodium Metabisulfite in a small bucket of water and let the suit sit for at least 30 seconds, swish it around a few times, spin the water out, and hang it up to dry inside. Even polyester suits (they have elastic bands that are destroyed by chlorine) last a lot longer too. Keep the solution fairly small....enough to easily cover the suit by 2-3 inches. The SMBS and water solution will only last a couple of days and needs to be made new. Obviously if you're going to get the chlorine out of the suits for the whole family, get a bigger bucket. At 1 teaspoon of SMBS per 2.2 gallons of water we're talking pennies to preserve a swimsuit, some of which cost $100 and up. The Sodium Metabisulfite works better than many of the commercially produced suit saver products and it's much more economical.

OK I guess.
Bought for a friend, donโt have a review. As far as I know, it worked as expected. Unfortunately I keep being prompted to review the item, but canโt complete it without comments, so here they are.
