Are these the same thing as the flukers river shrimp in the container?

No - I bought them thinking that but there are not. My painted turtle wanted nothing to do with these while the canned ones are his favorite. These are very wet - the canned ones are dried.

Yes they do. I feed them to my box turtles but sometimes they get in the water and float.
