Why is the Home model $60 more than the Original model? Does it do something the Original doesn't do?

Item says it has 10 hr. battery.  Does it have an AC adapter so it can be plugged in and forgotten?  Or must you recharge it?

The Renny includes an AC Adapter so you can leave it plugged in. In fact most people leave it plugged the majority of the time. It also has a USB output port on the side so a phone can be charged if desired.

Will the ringer and text/email notifications play through BOTH the iphone and the Renny Ringer Home at the same time?

Yes, the iPhone and Renny will both ring at the same time when you receive an incoming call.  However, text and email notifications are only heard through the Renny with iPhones, although it can very loud if you want it to be.  (With Android phones, text and email notifications are heard through both the phone and Renny because Android phones have more sophisticated Bluetooth software than Apple.)  Hope this helps!

Do you have to leave bluetooth active on my iphone for this device to work?

Yes, Bluetooth must be on in the background of your phone for Renny to auto-connect.  However, you can turn Bluetooth on and off whenever if you prefer to not be connected all the time.  iPhones are designed to have Bluetooth on all the time if that's what you decide.  The Renny HOME is the best model for iPhones because it has a Ring Only mode that keeps clicking sounds on your phone and not Renny HOME.
