I was a little concerned about buying this, due to the so called horror comedy elements. But I needn't have worried. The so called humour is never intrusive and in this case it actually works. Far from a low budget movie which a previous review stated. In fact it's beautifully made and the production values are top notch. The girl goes through a hell of a lot in order to come out alive, the characters are suitably twisted and the suspense hardly ever lets up. As for the ending, well it's not for everyone, but I actually really did get it. Not as violent as some have made out, but all in all, the mood of the scenario didn't really need it. A great little movie and great fun. In my opinion, a success.

Comedy horror.
A good film about an family of satanists. Would have been excellent in my opinion if it had been acted as a proper horror movie without the comedy. Still worth watching though.

A fun, tense and creative horror movie.
This was one of my favourite films of 2019, Samara Weaving and Adam Brody are amazing in their roled. The movie delivers on so many levels, an excellent all round cast, moments of pure tension and dry humour. Fans of horror will not be disappointed, as the movie certainly has some juicy moments. The picture quality of the bluray itself was also excellent.

Great comedy horror.
Great little horror comedy with a neat idea and excellent performances. Really solid transfer to blu ray. Excellent image quality and a good sound mix.

Great caper
A gem of a film. Gets better as the plot unfolds, with unexpected twists and turns along the way. Will watch again.
