Yes. I'm a 7 5/8 and it fits great.

Even though I have the Brixton logo on it, it's made in China... it looks good and comfy on me so I cut off the Made in China label off. Lots of people like my cap so 'nuff said!

what is the visor made of ?

I believe mine is fabric covered hard board.

Do the front panels retain the shape, or collapse into concavity?

So far it has kept a very good shape and he wears it often. He has had it for a couple of years now and I would still recommend it.
