You can tell Toby Wine (author) knows what he's doing. Not much mistakes here at all just a bit of positional stuff which you can easily sort by watching C.O.B live or music vids. I gotta say anything with the 'Wildchild' in it and I love it man, can learn so much from his music. Rest in peace Alexi Laiho!!!

This is actually my first guitar tabs book ever cause i just started playing. This books really helped me with the gear + tuning + tabs to use. I liked the mix with the notes for the tempo and the tabs for the fingers positionning. The book is divided in songs who are divided in parts. So it is easy to follow. There's a CD with samples, and there's a slow version of the same sample too of the part you are practicing.

Bad tabs. There are many inaccuracies within these tabs, and the songs are very hard to follow because of the format. Every song is interrupted with long bouts of exposition about theory and how to play each piece. This makes it hard to follow the song and would be much more helpful if formatted correctly. I would not purchase this knowing what I know now. You would be better off looking for Chris Zoupa on Youtube or paying for some other video lesson.

Gift for my husband. Anything with Alexi is good.

This book doesn't have the full songs. But most of the song is there. Intro's, bridge, every solo. Once you learn the main parts you can figure out how to play along with the real song. the CD only has guitar tracks that you play along with, no other instruments are there. But it's fun to learn the main parts to the songs. This book mainly breaks down each song by showing the intro. then a verse riff. then a solo section.
