What is the whole length of the clamp from end to end, not just the jaws?

What's the maximum gauge wire size that can fit inside the hole (14ga? 18ga?)

Between a 14gauge to a 20gauge. I have 20 gauge speaker wire fits pretty good. Also these clamps have a screw on the bottom too. I think they are made for lite work you probably need bigger clamps I wouldn't use these small ones though. 👍🏻

Would these be good to put speaker wire in them to test car speakers easily???

I have not tried them that way but I think they should work

Nice alligator clips and easy to install on whatever length of small gauge wire I wish. Some of the screws were stripped out, but overall, good value for the price paid. I've already used them multiple times in just a short time. Great for automotive and low voltage connections.
