Excellent Saw
Excellent saw! I have a Stihl MS 150 and a Stihl MS 261. I needed a large saw that would handle a 36" bar for a large maple tree that fell. The Stihl MS661 at $1,400 was just more than I could afford, so I bought this G660. I paired it with an Oregon 36" bar and chain. The pictures are from the first use. I figured it would take forever to make the cuts because I was running it slow for break-in. It didn't. It ate that maple tree for breakfast. Wow. Easy to start (2nd pull from cold, 1st pull from warm), runs smooth, and it just rolls the power on. I'm very pleased. One note: The factory does not set up the carburetor needle valves. You have to set them or the saw won't start, it will flood. YouTube Steve's Small Engine Saloon has a good video about how to adjust chainsaw carbs. Build quality looks very good. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Going the Distance
I was scared that this Chinese saw would be a piece of crap. I put a 36โ bar on it and milled a 10โ long 30โ diameter oak log into 8/4 inch slabs. It works great. The manual contradicts itself regarding the oil/gas mix. I bought alcohol free gas and mixed it 50:1 with Red Armor. It starts the same and runs great every time.

Starts easy if you follow directions
Powerful. If you do not follow stsrting directions to the tee, it will not start.

Great saw has alot of balls
I have a 36 in bar on this 660 saw and it cuts the hard Juniper like butter I was hesitant but the only issues I've had so far was the chain adjuster which I would 100% recommend getting a stihl chain adjuster and to be very careful with the pull start must use the decompress valve or you'll end up breaking the string

Was skeptical at first
I was reluctant to buy the knock off of the 660, but the price was just to good to pass up. I needed a more powerful saw for milling. I've been running this with a 42" bar. It's broken in now and running very well. Haven't had any issues with it, although I've only run about 6-7 tanks of fuel through it thus far.

What a monster.
This is a powerful saw. It is heavy with a 36 inch bar, but it is a cutting machine. This is the most powerful saw I have ever run. It ran great right out of the box. I have run about 5 tanks of gas and it starts and runs great.

So far so good. Started right up in 3 pulls!
Nice saw - solidly built. Started in 3 pulls! Seems like it was missing a screw - only three screws provided for mounting the handle. Handle was different than the one pictured but that's ok. The inner log dog will not fit without modification but I don't need them anyway since this will mainly be used for chainsaw milling.

powerful love it
I have the rancher 460 i use for most my cutting put a new chain on it fresh spark plug it is running great i put it up against this saw wow no chance this Blue thunder cut two to one that my 460 could cut, wow it is fast move over 460 the new saw just took your job. It starts just as easy as my 460 too not much more weight other then feeling the bar weight . so far I love it.

Awsome saw
Update May 17 2021, saw worked great milling softwoods with a 25'' bar, ran great, started great and lots of power. It has burnt about 20 liters of gas. Crankshaft just snapped right behind the clutch in the middle of a cut, motor still runs fine. Parts are ordered, will fix and see if it was just a bad luck or more issues coming. I am rating this as a Holzfforma and not as a Stihl even those it's almost the same thing in looks. I received it within 10 days everything was in good condition. I am aware some things are recommended to look at, i did check head bolts which were fine. Muffler bolts some were loose and i did add loctite, i check carb nuts and decomp which were fine, also grease the needle bearing in the cluth. The chain tensionner is not very smooth, i will do the shim to it shortly. Plenty of videos out there with things to check over, i have not replaced any parts as some suggest. I did a break in and I am down about 10 tanks of gas so far doing some milling. It started great the first day and still starts perfectly every time. I needed more power than my other saw for milling, this one is perfect for me, i have the power i needed at a great price, i could not justify spending 1500$ for a Stihl of the same size.

Over decent for the money. I'll take a few issues for the price I paid
Using this saw for an Alaskan mill with a 36" bar. I went throught the break in period, but needs to be tuned. Although it's running pretty decent, you can tell its a knockoff, but it had good power, but given the size it should. The pull cord keeps getting stuck out, not sure why, kind of a pain the ass, because you need to unscrew the cover I'm order to get it to retrack, and it's still gives a bit of trouble. I would suggest to anyone using or buying this saw, to replace any defective parts with genuine Stihl parts to avoid further issues. But considering it's less then half the cost, it seems worth it to. The plastic body is a bit cheap so it's got a couple cracks however it's not major, just something to consider. I use it for personal use, not industrial grade use.

Best bang for the buck from this seller
Well this saw has had over 30L of fuel burnt at 40-1 and hasn't missed or popped once. One pull starts. The seller had it tuned and a good spark plug installed. It runes so good that I'm buying another one. love it. My MS 661 and 660 haven't left the shelf since I started this saw.

Would not start.
Missing parts (no handle screws, no spiked bumper), cover cracked, and WOULD NOT START. Tried many times (with new gas). Vendor mentioned 25:1 for first 10 hrs. Tried it, no difference. Don't need this hassle with a new product. Was told have to ship 3700km at my expense to get refund! Thankfully Amazon intervened.

Helpful customer service
Bought this product. Had some issues with the cylinder and ignition coil. After contacting the CS, they send me the replacement parts. Donโt expect you get a high end saw - but look how much things are and I could buy 3 of those for the price. Iam milling with the saw - there is no more 90cc, WITHOUT electronic carburetor, new to buy in Canada !!! Which sucks !!! China made me happy with a product, which works again and if not, I hope CS will cooperate with their customer, accordingly to issue, in the future as well. Thanks
