SlimKey Stand for slim keyboard

Mine came with a huge dent on the side and I have not been able to return it. I believe this would be a great product if it arrived undamaged. Good luck!

Purchased this to clean up desktop space on my desk when not using the full size Apple keyboard. The only issue is that the picture is not representative of the actual product. When you get the product, it will have cutouts in the back on both sides. You can see the cutout type on the "SlimKey V2", except this model doesn't have the USB hub. For some this may affect their aesthetic Mac desktop style, but I didn't find it bad since actually it allows for there to be spots to push my keyboard out from underneath, when it is fully within the stand. It may be an issue if you want full 100% usage of the top of this stand. Another great combo addition to this stand is the "Twelve South HiRise for iMac - Adjustable stand for iMac and Apple Displays" which can also help you keep your desktop super neat. Figured to let others know this since sometimes Amazon products are not representative of the pics. Enjoy, and hope my reviews helped with your purchase decision.

Meh,. What else can you really say. It's huge, heavy, scratches easily. But other than questionably constructed from materials that could be less prone to scratching. What you see is what you get.

Exactly as billed. I got this (and not a version w/a hub) because I already had a hub. This one looks great, works great, and, when I need more space on the desk, lets me slide the keyboard right up under the monitor. Very firm metal materials (no plastic), nice rubberized "feet" to protect your desk. Also has those rear side openings to help keep your cords organized - very nice.Two things to pay attention to:1) It's rated to 30 lbs.; my display is 27.5 lbs., and the stand is bowing slightly in the middle. I would *not* recommend going over the 30-pound limit (be aware that, if you have an Apple display and you're hanging something off the back of it using an add-on shelf, that adds weight).2) Your monitor/computer *will* be 1" higher than it was, so plan accordingly for best viewing angle.

Ok - it is pretty silly that a piece of metal can make me so happy, but this is a simple, well designed upgrade, for any computer setup with a keyboard slim enough to fit under. I have it under a 27" monitor with a mac mini, vertically, shoved behind the monitor.I'm a teacher, and I use this on my work computer. I like the fact that I can get my keyboard out of the way of coffee cups, and that I have space to grade math tests. This stand is great for desks that really aren't that deep and that you also occasionally need to be able to write and draw traditionally on.
