are these cadnium free?

Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, these are cadnium free. Our porcelain is PROUDLY FDA approved and made of durable porcelain. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.

Where are they made what country

These wonderful coffee mugs are made in the USA! I looked everywhere for the perfect mug, trying to avoid anything made in China due to heating liquids. Products from China have serious issues with products containing lead and other chemicals. The quality of these mugs is unbelievable. The feel in your hand, the beauty and the gorgeous colors are perfect! Now that I have these mugs in my cabinet, they are the only ones I reach for. I love these mugs!!!

How thick is the handle? I want to hand these on hooks and need to ensure they will fit.

The handles are approx 1/4 inch thick and 3/4 inch wide.

Do the cups actually hold 16 oz.? My last Sweese purchase holds less than labled.

My husband drinks a 10 oz cup of coffee and the cup is still not full. I drink an 8 oz cup and the cup is about half full. Maybe not a full 16 oz but pretty close.
