What an absolutely brilliant piece of kit at a very reasonable price! My only problem was it was mentioned in other comments the device could be powered via Ethernet, provided you have a PoE switch. I have an 8 port unmanaged switch in the loft, with 4 ports being PoE auto detect, which basically indentifies a PoE device when it is plugged in. It didnt detect this camera and i have other PoE devices connected which work correctly. This wasnt a major issue as I just needed to drill a small 20mm hole through our soffit underneath the guttering and feed the DC power cable [I needed to buy a 10mtr extension for this] and a 10mtr ethernet cable through the hole. Once these were in connect the ethernet to the switch and plug in the power. Then connect up at the camera end. Its a good idea to have the app installed and your mobile with you up the ladder as you need to scan the camera QR code to add the device during setup. That was it. It works like an absolute dream, picture quality is superb and the options are excellent, zoom, night vision. Its also simple enough to connect to wifi. Very happy

Bought this primarily to watch the foxes that visit our garden and on the whole its very good. The unit appears to be well made, good solid metal construction. Downloading and setting up the app on my iPad & Samsung Galaxy S9 was quick and easy. Downsides are the motion detection is too sensitive, even on the lowest setting the slightest thing triggers it to record. You end up with a lot of clips with nothing happening. In the dark moving objects appear smeary or ghost like often disappearing into nothing. Picture quality in daylight is good. See short video clip of fox visiting our garden.

Got this due to things happening on my road... Fell ill and didn't get to fit it until last week. Camera is great, ruined by the cheap n nasty power supply that was supplied which is causing disconnected errors due to it overheating and being too small. Having to sort out another power supply right now. This is a shame as the camera is superb.

After initial teething problems during installation camera has superb pictures & sound quality & beats many an expensive alternative. Can be viewed from your phone, anywhere you may be. Highly recommended for such a cheap price. (Only drawback is that you have to keep re-installing it when it goes off-line - which is virtually everyday).

Brilliant product perfect for first week then both went off and can't get them back on without a subscription of some sort is what am guessing

I have two of these. The older one has been outside in all weather for the last three years or so and is still working perfectly. I find them easy to set up and use (with SD cards for recording). Great value for money. Very pleased.

I dont normaly leave reviews but i was so pleased with this camera i felt i had to. Well packaged very easy to set up, picture quality is perfect, built in alarm siren aswell as motion and sound detection and to top it off free cloud recording. For £27 you would be mad not to purchase.

I bought this as it was titled "wireless" It arrived on time and the first thing I noticed was the mains plug so had to find a way of installing it close enough to a socket without having to drill through a 2 foot thick solid wall. It WAS NOT that easy to fit, infact I had to virtually take it apart to be able to screw it in place as the aerial and camera body get in the way. The microphone is rubbish and I can't hear people talking clearly and then have to actually go speak to them face to face, which defeats the object of having 2 way communication. Downloaded the app and as soon as I opened it was told it needed updating so I updated it and could not add the camera to the app so uninstalled it and tried again without the update and the camera added first time so the update made it not work 👏 The app lists smart door bells as an addable device but the company do not make a smart door bell. Installed SD card into the camera, set it to continuous recording but when I try to view footage from the SD card it just shows the loading symbol, gave up after nearly 10mins of watching the loading circle thing going round and round. Takes ages to load on the app so by the time I've opened the app and got to view the live feed after the motion detection notification the burglars are sat next to me taking the p*** out of my camera, but the picture quality is OK. Honestly would send it back if I could be bothered taking it down again.
