Guitarist Carley Wolf bounces about the stage in her all-white leather outfits, smiling brightly as she lays waste to another audience, dominating the room, a guitar slinging femme-fatale. Drummer Jonny carves a manic groove, propelling the music, forward, upward, lifting the band off the ground as they energize the air. They draw inspiration from across the musical spectrum, blending blues, punk, 60's garage, rockabilly and glam, all packaged into a tight little two-piece setup that travels light but plays heavy.Jonny and Carley Wolf were raised in an alternate Texas reality, by a pack of six hybrid great white wolves. Devout vegetarians, they roamed the scrub of the central Texas hill country learning their instruments and assimilating their rough and tumble surroundings. Down and dirty blues, the way it was meant to be
I don't like to give to many items 5 stars but this two piece group is like the White Stripes inverted and then rubbed in some dirty oil and grease. It is down and dirty blues and rocks. Totally enjoyed everything on this album. Read about the group in one of the many British music magazines and it was well worth the investment.

Keep On Rocking
Overall, this is a really good record, from the Texas married duo. It rocks like hell from the outset, with Carley Wolf giving her guitar a good thrashing, whilst husband Jonathan pounds the crap out of his drums. Her vocals are a blend of Poly Styrene and Buffy Saint-Marie - at times sultry; at times raw as a shredded throat.Almost every track's all-out great - there's certainly no filler - with plenty of dynamic light and shade, as well as plenty of howling, fuzzy, scuzziness. From punk to blues, garage rock to Black Sabbath, Suicide and beyond, it's all here, filtered through their own original blueprint. Definitely worth buying, from one of the few good new bands about.
