Perfect for my 2+ toddler
This was the perfect toothbrush to transition our 2.5 yr old son to brushing by himself. As folks with toddlers will understand, they love to do things by themselves (itโs a constant, โI do it MYSELF!โ) so this was the perfect toothbrush to let him do so, give him the skills, while also doing a good job of cleaning his teeth. Weโve had it for a few months now and the battery life is great. The size and grip is perfect for him. My 2.5 year is on the below average end in terms of size so I was worried itโll be too big but it ended up being perfect for him.

Great but loud and large
These are a great quality little electric toothbrush for a child. We were slightly bummed when we ordered 2 (one for each child) and got the same character (yoda). We solved that issue by writing their initials on the bottom in sharpie marker & it's been fine (thankfully they have different first initials!!). We got these to replace the kid's old Colgate electric toothbrushes and there were a few things I was quite pleased about, however there were also some things we also had some major "growing pains" to get through as well. We loved that for such an inexpensive brush, the bristles do actually rotate! That also means those little openings in the back of the toothbrush for water to get in. For our family, it's not a huge issue since our children aren't able to brush their own teeth, so that means a parent is rinsing out and drying the brushes after each use (and inspecting for potential areas where water could hide out and feed mold). I did want to mention it, though, so that other parents remember to check your little ones brushes and teach them good brush hygiene. ;) Also, another "issue" that wasn't a problem for our family was the handle size on the brush. It's significantly larger than any other "kids" toothbrush that we have used. If you have a small 3 or 4 year old, it may take a bit of getting used to at first. The biggest problem that I see with these toothbrushes is the noise! We've been using them for about 2.5 months now and our children use them AWESOME now, but at first these brushes scared them! It took about one and a half weeks for our kids to get back into a regular "no big deal" schedule of brushing their teeth. At first they pushed it away as soon as you turned the brush on! If you have kids with pronounced auditory sensitivities- these would be a hard pass. But if you have kids that might have "slight sound aversions", don't automatically put these on your "NO" list. Our kids only took 1.5 weeks to get them added into their daily schedule (huge win for kiddos with special needs). I'm adding a video that I took to compare these brushes to the old Colgate electric toothbrushes that we started them on (turn your volume up!)

Not recommended under 3, but this is a lifesaver for my 19-month-olds!
Initially, my kids were interested in brushing their teeth. They would brush all over, chew on the bristles, I'd sing a song, etc. Over the past few months, it's become a real struggle! They would pull their lips tight down over their teeth or stick their tongues out so we couldn't even see a single tooth. Of course, this caused me way more stress than necessary and I started looking into different options. I thought they might like an electric toothbrush, but all of the options I found on the market were targeted at kids 3+. If I waited that long to try, their teeth would surely be rotten! (Hi - Overreacting mom, here!) I was reading the reviews for this brush and saw that someone said they were a dentist and used it on all their kids... even a 1 year old. Of course, you can't believe everything you read on the internet. But, that was enough for me to pony up the $8 to give these a try (kudos to Amazon for the awesome price on these, by the way!). My boys instantly LOVED these! They not only let us use them in their mouths, but they sit there and move them around to get all their teeth. We've only been using them a few nights, but it's already made bedtime SO MUCH more enjoyable for all of us. Later on, we'll look to switch to a model where you can replace the brush heads. But, as an initial trial, these were just perfect!

Great Purchase
I recently switched from a manual toothbrush to a battery powered toothbrush for my four year old. I was concerned that the manual toothbrush was just not getting the job done quite good enough, especially if I allowed him to do his own teeth. This one in particular is a much higher quality than the Colgate version. I found it lasted longer (bristled), cleaned better and had a longer life span in general. My kid LOVED that it was Star Wars. This has made a big difference and has given me a less anxiety when he brushes his own teeth. Great purchase, highly recommend for the extra coverage it provides.
