Because this strap only has one way to hold it on your head, I found it slips off easily. However, because it is fairly narrow, it's not as hot as others I've tried. The fabric they used to line the area under your chin is really itchy. I tucked a tissue in it and it was better. If you want to try a strap, this I would recommend starting off with something like this one.

The ear hole was placed in a weird position. This caused the strap to come off easily. The smell everyone one talks about can be somewhat overcome by washing in a pleasant smelling scented soap this is just a cover up, and does not get rid of the smell. The strap is uncomfortable, however it does stop the snoring.

I had to take this to the trash--not even in the house but outdoors as far as I could get it. It also has this rough surface that is supposed to keep just enough space between the strap and your skin for breathing, but those little bumps dig into the skin. In my case, because I was also allergic to the material, when I woke I was covered with extremely painful little bumps under my chin, which took over 3 weeks to heal! I am a fast healer but this must really have dug in to harm my skin there. So if you have sensitive skin, get something else. I suppose this is great for men with bird...

My husband used this product for two nights, both times he followed the directions provided here, and fastened the strap in place appropriately. Midway through the night the strap slipped off both tries and woke him up and he did not get a good night's rest due to being awoken suddenly from the strap coming off. He then left it off and as usual snoring commenced. The product did not meet basic claims of not slipping off and holding in place with the single top fastener. We are returning this product and purchasing one with to adjustment points since this just does not stay in place regardless of how tight you adjust the top of the strap. He is not a small guy, nor is he overweight, so this should work for him as described with no problems since he is not outside of what would be considered a normal weight range or head size.

Very itchy on chin. Worn it very tight but is so stretchy, my mouth would still open at night leading to wonderful drool. Returned due to function and comfort. Guess you get what you pay for?

Used the chin strap because I sleep on my back and end up breathing through my mouth thereby getting awful dry mouth. Dry mouth isn't good for your dental health. This chin strap works well to keep my mouth shut.

The design of this strap assumes your chin, your ears, and the top of your head are all in a straight line. Mine aren't (are yours?), so either a) my ears go through the holes properly, but the top of the strap slides off the top of my head, or b) the top of the strap is positioned properly on top of my head and the strap stays on, but my ears are smashed because they don't line up with the holes.
