I really like these lights - use and charging could not be simpler and many pleasant design details abound. First, they are charged inductively which means you place them in the base but there are no contacts to misalign or corrode. Second, the lights are easily operated by simply tipping them side to side for on and off action. Third, the wall plug is shaped ergonomically so that your thumb and fingers grasp it comfortably but firmly when removing it from the outlet.The lights have an attractive appearance thanks to a finely frosted finish on the glass vessel. The LED inside flickers pleasantly and will fool casual observers that it is a candle. The color of the light is warm and adds to party ambience. The value proposition will depend on how badly how you want to add these to your occasions or your setting - for me they are a useful and fun addition to our garden parties and the product quality and excellent design makes it feel like a sensible buy.

I really like these lights. The build quality is great. Very solid and smooth, frosted glass finish. The lights themselves are very yellow, and don't put out much light. They mimic candles very well, with a constant low flickering. I was under the impression you could change the light flickering on and off, however, while I found out you can't, it's really not the problem I thought it might have been as the flickering is very subtle.The way you turn the lights on and off is either by tipping it to the side and back, or shaking it up and down slightly, works great. Though it would've been cool if you could blow them out. The best use of these lights is probably as night lights. I use them if I get up in the night and need to walk through the house to the kitchen or restroom. Not too much light to wake up other, just enough to help me find my way and not crash into anything.The batteries last quite a while on a full charge, though I haven't timed them, they seem to last a full day/night when on. Hopefully the LED's and batteries will hold up for a long time, as neither can be replaced. The charging base could have been designed a bit better, it seems like the cheapest part of the set, though it does work great. You simply set the candle lights in each charge circle and it charges, no plugging the lights in or anything wires to deal with other than the single plug for the charge station.Overall, the light's are a great replacement for actual candles. They put off about the same amount of light as a small candle, they look good, plus you can put these in places you can use traditional candles, as these won't start fires, they don't even get warm.

I ordered these candles as a gift for a friend.Unfortunately gift not turned because candles came without adapter.I am very upset.Gift was spoiledAt the moment I can not find the adapter separately.It is a pity that I can not use them they are very beautiful

at first, these seemed pretty cool. shake them on, shake them off. nice warm glow and all glass instead of icky plastic. BUT, if you don't leave them plugged in to charge all the time, they discharge even without use after only a few days. The charging base is plastic, the cord not the sturdiest looking and, after some hours of charging, the base gets quite hot; therefore, and so I don't like the idea of leaving them plugged in all the time on our screened porch where I use them. End result is they are never charged when I want them and they have become dust collectors. If you were to anticipate needing them and only charge before use, they would be fine. They are definitely mood lighting, though, and not real illumination for any meaningful purpose. I would have given these five stars if the cost 1/4 of what I paid but they were hideously overpriced.

These lights are very nice. I use them often for dinners outside on the porch.I usually cluster two or three of them together to obtain just the right amount of light.They are very easy to use - just tip them on their side for a second to turn them on and off.The charging design is impressive - there are no electrical connections between the lights and charging base.I cannot verify how long they remain charged, but there certainly is sufficient charge for an entire evening.Because I WAS so happy with the product, I purchased a set as a gift for a family member.Now for the bad part. The lights are smooth glass, narrow, and cylindrical. I accidentally bumped the table causing a light to tip over, roll onto the floor and shatter. The instructions do not provide any contact information, but after an internet search and multiple phone transfers to different departments, I was finally able to speak with a customer service representative only to be told that replacement lights are NOT available and that I would need to purchase the entire set and charging base just to replace the one light that was broken. So, what would have been a 4 or 5 star review is now a 3.If anyone has a light or two that they would like to sell me, please let me know.

Great product and love not needing to buy batteries. I have them in my office at work and lots of people comment on them and that they are pretty realistic for being LED lights. They don't really give off much light so you can really only use them for mood lighting, but that is what I got them for, so they work for my purpose.I do think they are pricey, so I hope they last a LONG time to make the price worthwhile for 3 fake candles. I would agree with some of the other reviews that the light is an orange-y color, not a soft white or yellow. For me, this con is not a deal breaker but I did take off one star because I wish they were a little more white or yellow. So far they have charged well and last the entire work day and I just put them in the base to charge before I go home each evening. I think having real frosted glass on the candle holder makes all the difference!
