I find myself breathing so much better now as a result of this book, and being a better performing athlete. I am also being more conscious about ‘how’ I breath. A classic in breathing
This is a classic book in the area of breathing. Unlike many others who had written on this topic, Dr Vranich takes a real scientific approach minus the mystic mumbo jumbo. And her methods are practical and produces result, speaking from my personal experience. I am familiar with correct breathing techniques as I am a competitive runner however I did learn something new from this book. I applied the technique taught and it did help me improve my breathing while running. I would have given the book 5 star if not for: - thin content material, much of this repetitive - poor graphics and instructions - poor book structure - there are other helpful aspects of breathing which are not covered here

The role of breath training in gaining both a tactical and performance advantage is essential and clearly shown in Breathing for Warriors. After reading this book you will realize the importance of incorporating a breath training routine into your routine!

I’m not reviewing this book but merely commenting on the audio sample. The entire sample is the authors acknowledging other people who assisted them with writing the book. It would be helpful to let us hear the actual content of the book.

Fantastic read!
This book has a lot of information for all types of people. Not just for athletes. The information is easy to understand. Starts with the basics of diaphragmatic breathing, and then gets into the many different ways to perform better, depending on what type of goals you have. Great read. I've suggested it to many people already!

Absolute Empfehlung
Atmung sollte ein zentrales Thema und jeder Schule, in jedem Studium und in unser aller Leben spielen. Dies tut sie ohnehin schon aber praktische und theoretische Informationen über die Tragweite der Atmung sind dringend notwendig. Daher ist dieses Buch eine dringende Empfehlung!

Respiration et activité physique
Il existe beaucoup de contenu (livres, vidéos...) axés sur la mécanique et l'exécution correct de mouvement de fonctionnel fitness. Mais qu'en est-il de la respiration liée à ces mouvements ? Apres un chapitre dédié au mecanisme phisyoligique de la respiration, les auteurs mettent le focus sur la respiration en fonction du mouvement: burpees, rameur, push ups... Une somme et une approche originale du mouvement. Formidable livre.
