was a bit worried that they would look different in person but i was wrong! These are really well made and look great!

I do love these forks! The design is simple/ modern. However, the black does faintly wear after so many washes. I have had these for about a year now and I can ever so slightly see the fadings. I still use them and its nothing crazy noticable yet but I am in a single person household vs. a house filled with kids where they'll get used more.

Some very minor scuffs and dings from the manufacturer, but nothing that ruins the quality on the flatware. Gives each piece its own character. Over all I am very satisfied. The flatware is exactly what I was looking for. Its very solid and sturdy and better than anything I've bought at Walmart. I included a picture of the stuff on one handle and a minor ding on another. These are honestly the worst two out of the two sets I purchased. Everything came in its own plastic sleeve and each set rubber banded together. Very pleased with everything. Highly recommend these flatwares.~UPDATE~Okay, it has now been roughly 2 months since I bought these and they are still holding up great! Absolutely no issues running them through the dish washer. The first is has stayed intact. I am still very pleased and happy with my purchase. And they go great with my black stoneware dishes.~UPDATE~It has now been 2 years since I bought these. Still holding up great. I've noticed the finish is degrading on the knives from use, and on the edges of the spoons from scraping bowls, plates etc. But otherwise still in great condition and I plan I buying more.

This set is so good for the price!! I bought a set from Macy's that was 3 times the price and they tarnished as soon as I ran them through the dishwasher. I had heard good reviews from people on Instagram about this set so I figured why not?! Sooo happy I tried them bc after a year of daily use and going through the dishwasher, there is no tarnishing or discoloring. They do get water spots on them if they aren't hand dried, but that's any flatware, it just shows up a little more since they're black. We have hard water so the water spots are a little tougher to get off after being dried.For the price I would highly recommend them!

I just returned a similar looking set last week. These cost a little bit more but I like everything about these much better. The matte finish is really beautiful and doesn't suffer from water spots or finger prints. The black stainless steel almost looks like a precious metal. Unlike the returned set, this set includes a salad fork and the table and tea spoon sizes are properly proportioned. The knife handle is solid, which is the sign of a bargin set, but these are a bargin price and so attractive and modern looking, it's a minor compromise. I just ordered another set. I really, really like these!
