My husband and I have a puuurfect cat named LEO. We bought him the 27"(L)X24"(W)X73"(H) size tower (second size option on the product page). He loves it! When he is super hyper and sprinting around the house, he runs up to it full speed and climbs to the top, he loves the top floor view! It is taller than me and I am 5'9! We have it in front of the window and he relaxes and enjoys the view from our 3rd floor condo. It has cut back on the number of times he wakes me up in the morning too. He usually wakes me up 4 maybe 5 times while I'm sleeping to feed or play with him, and when I feed him the 1st or 2nd time (between 4 and 5 am!), I will open the blinds in front of the cat tower and he will hang out there until I wake up.. what a help! (I sound crazy for waking u several times with him.. but he will seriously just meow in my face until I do, or scratch and meow at the door if I shut it..) ANYWAYS, the quality is great and it took 30 minutes to put together. The color is great, not an eye sore like a lot of these cat towers. Nice clean and neutral looking. He has yet to lay in the hammock or play with the 2 rope features, I may need to point them out, but also he tends to like to be high up. Also, this product does NOT have a bad smell/odor! MAYBE when you first take it out of the box it has that new carpet smell, but that is long gone. I also love the layout, I spent a lot of time trying to find the best one that we can still see him when he is in it, and that also has a rim/edge around the perches (2 at the top) so he can relax more and not have to hold him self up right on the flat perches that some other towers offer. Cons: The fabric balls that attach to the bottom of the 2 high perches, ripped off because Leo made it his goal to do so.. They give you 1 extra one, which also got ripped off.. But he loves to play with those around the house now that he has "removed" them from the tower. We are really enjoying it!

I got this cat tree because it was tall enough for my one cat who loves to sleep in high places, and yet with a small enough foot print that it could fit into a normal size bedroom. I have it by the window. I was lucky, the first level is almost even with the bottom of the window, so they can get on the first level and look out! The instructions were pictures, and it took a little bit of time to figure out exactly what it all meant (I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer). I was able to assemble the cat tree without any problems, all the parts were there and the small items (screws and Allen wrench) came inside a nice little cloth bag in case you have to dismantle the tree, you can put the screws in the bag. The cats were sniffing it from the time I got the first level on it! It's very sturdy and I like the fleece on it, makes it comfy for the cats. Now I wish I had two of them! I recommend this brand of tree as it is well made, heavy duty hardward and sturdy components. The tree is put to good use. I really like that the legs are all scratching posts, now if only they will use that as opposed to my couch! :D Thank you for the excellent product.

As cat companions go, we know our feline family members love these trees, but cost or lack of space tends to keep us from getting one. I am so very glad I found this tree, it solves both issues. It fits perfectly in the corner of my living room and my cats love it. I work at a Veterinary Clinic that only sees Cats and we now have one in our front reception room for our house cats too! Everyone wants to know where we got it and what we paid, most drop their jaw when they hear the reasonable price. This is a quality piece of work, easy to put together, sturdy and withstands the use of multiple cats on a daily basis. At my clinic this tree sees use from up to 7 cats a day (sometimes 4 at a time) and still remains stable and in good condition - and its only braced against one wall of windows (I did leave the top most tier off at the clinic due to Exit signs and Fire regulations) At my home it is placed in a corner so that two walls are bracing it and all three of my cats jump on and off it all day and they love love love the string ball play pieces it came with, along with the hiding hole house. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this product, both in my clinic and at my home it has exceeded my expectations and made me a hero in the eyes of furry feline family members!

So I was a little leery of ordering cat furniture online and getting a box of flimsy junk. Not the case with this one. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Mine is quite tall (~72" or so) and doesn't need any extra weight to keep it from tipping or rocking. The uprights are also nice and solid. I believe they are heavy cardboard tubes, so it's not 100% wood, but given the layout they are well supported and reinforced, and don't wobble around as long as you screw them in tightly. Item was well-packed without a lot of extra packaging to throw away. The only real difficulty came in trying to keep the cats off of it while I was still assembling it!

I've had this assembled for about a week now. I live in a relatively small apartment with not a whole lot of extra space, but I wanted to create some vertical playing room for 2 cats (all claws in tact), and this cat tree fit the bill. Its small enough that I don't have to worry about where I'll put it if I have to move into a smaller apartment later, and tall enough that the cats have plenty of play room. They must put catnip in it, because my cat Bridget (who goes crazy for the stuff) was running up and down it before it was completely assembled. It put together in a snap, I had a friend over to help me and we built it in 20 minutes easy. The instructions are all pictures, which made it simple to see what went where. Definitely recommend having a friend, since there are parts that make it a lot easier with someone aligning the opposite end. Would DEFINITELY recommend placing this against wall or other furniture for stability, since it does tend to shake when the cats go sprinting up it in a frenzy (Haiku is 7lbs, Bridget is 9lbs). Mine is placed against the TV stand (waist height) and wall and is perfectly stable. The shorter ledge tends to extend past the rest of the tree so its really the only thing touching the wall. Every time I come home or go downstairs, the one cat or the other is laying on it/playing in it. Haiku loved the hanging hammock once I introduced her to it. Possibly because she had a hammock at her home in the shelter where I adopted her? Bridget (from a home) doesn't care for it at all, but loves the top shelves. I find her sitting on them every time I come home from work. Bonus: Bridget stopped scratching at the carpet once we got this new scratching post (The old one was carpet and sisal, I think she was just confused). This tree actually looks good with my furniture, takes up hardly any space, and isn't leaving any of those annoying carpet pieces on my floor like my last post did. Long and short of it: the cats love it, and I'm happy.

I have searched for the "perfect" cat tree for months - over an year definitely. I live in a basement in-law apartment (half above ground with windows that I have to keep closed for privacy most of the time.) It has a low ceiling and the room is 19'L x 14'W. I didn't want a big cat tree but most of the ones I saw that had the height I wanted were wide or very expensive. I also didn't like the configurations. I wanted my cat to be able to look outside above the blinds I put on for privacy so we can both be happy. This cat tree is almost perfect! Easy to put together, very sturdy. I had to make some adjustments because of the ceiling height - couldn't put the shelf above the box; I had to add some 4x4s at the base to raise the height to what I needed. But this has to do with the buyer's living space and nothing to do with the product. The price I paid at the time of purchase was $101.75 which was affordable for what it was in my opinion. Today (5/19/16) it's posted at $88.24 which is better bargain. My cat LOVES it! I highly recommend this product.

This is an awesome cat tree! I have had it in my house for three years and it's been the best cat tree I ever owned. It was very easy to assemble and, today I discovered, JUST as easy to take apart. I'm moving and I didn't want to deal with having it loaded into a truck put together - I figured that would likely compromise it's stability - and so I just finished taking it all apart. It took me about 20 minutes to do so. I also found that I could very easily take the top two platforms and give them a good scrub down with some liquid laundry detergent and a stiff brush. My cats (now just one :( ) have loved this tree! They won't touch the hammock (but I got this for them when they were 10 - if I'd had it from kittenhood, maybe they'd love it), but the rest of it they dig. Often, when I can't find my giant 12 pounder, he's somehow curled up in the little hidey hole (which is smaller than the listed dimensions only because I shoved a cat bed into it). TL; DR: If you're looking for a sturdy, easy-to-assemble, easy-to-disassemble cat tree, this is the one you want!

We got married last weekend in my husbands hometown and are going on our honeymoon in a couple of days. We've been going out of town a lot for wedding planning stuff so the cats have been left with a cat sitter for a quite a few weekends and I could tell it was stressing them out. I work from home 4 days a week, so they are really not used to amusing themselves. I felt guilty for leaving the cats with a cat sitter for a week while we're in Yellowstone, so we bought them a new toy to try to occupy them while we're gone As soon as I opened the box, Mr. Kitty knew this was his. He was all over everything the whole time I was putting it together, kept trying to climb posts that were not yet secured and stole one of the little fuzzy ball toys. Now he's passed out in the kitty condo fast asleep. He's a bigger cat and has had no problem fitting in any of the spaces or climbing the platforms. He and I both love the sisal rope scratchers, me especially because it doesn't get cardboard everywhere like his turbo scratcher. It's surprisingly sturdy and fits nicely in a small space in the corner of our living room(we live in an apartment, so space is a big issue for us.) It did take me about an hour to get it assembled while my husband was at work, but I think that was because all of the "help" I was getting from the cat. The instructions were straightforward, easy to understand even for someone with no mechanical abilities. I researched for a long time trying to find a scratcher in our budget that wouldn't fall over when he goes crazy at night and would look nice in our living room and I am positive this was the perfect choice for us.

Once this finally arrived at my house I was very happy overall with the quality and the size of this cat tree. My two cats love it and I am so excited to see them play on it. I would get different toys for the top parts as the one has already broken off, but that being said they love that there is a toy you can put there. The little hammock is awesome and I like the box house. It was very easy to assemble. Took us about 20 minutes. It was pretty easy to move also. Cats can get up on it easily and back down easy. They are not having any problems with the hole in the middle and love the big rope that dangles down. I read a lot of reviews before picking this one and I am really impressed with it. The faux fleece is nice too because it does not make a huge mess. The bolts that are used to hold it all together are very sturdy looking. I have my tree up against wall and on carpet and it doesn't have any major tipping issues. My kids even climb on it and they are not having any issues with it tipping and falling. It seems like a good size. My older cat can fit in all the holes so I think my kitten will be able to once he is bigger also. The shipping issues I had were with Purolator. If you can afford to pay for shipping I would have done that after my experience with Purolator. If you don't then just don't expect the package to arrive the first two times it says it will. It was a very frustrating wait, but at the end of the day I got it with no damage. Armarkat though has done an amazing job with their cat trees. My sister has one as well and I love hers and so do her cats.

My cat absolutely loves this tree. It's always scary investing a bunch of money in what is essentially cat furniture, as there's no way to tell if your cat will take to it. There are so many other factors you're managing (how it will fit and look in the room, is this an area the cat will want to be in, etc) in the decision to buy a cat tree combined with the fact that you may be wasting a lot of money on a big reminder that your cat doesn't like it. I'm happy to say my cat alleviated all of these concerns for me within the first day of owning this tree. When the package arrived the box was slightly damaged around the corners and parts of the tree were showing. The box was also quite heavy (I'd guess 60 lbs or so). However, when I tore it open nothing was damaged. Assembly instructions were clear and all necessary tools included. It took me roughly 30 minutes to put together. After building it my cat gave it a couple sniffs and walked away. I wasn't going to put up with that so I sprinkled some cat nip all over it and placed her in the shelter. Once she realized the tree was hers she really started enjoying it; climbing to the top platforms and playing with the dangling balls. It's been 2 weeks now and it's her main lookout spot every time I'm in the room. She uses all platforms, sleeps in the shelter and scratches the posts. The only thing she doesn't use is the hammock. I placed her in it a couple times and she just panics and jumps out. Overall, the build quality is excellent here and my cat loves it. The only other factor is cost. Store-bought cat trees seem to range $200-$300 for trees this size so getting this at any cost under $200 is a great value. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Meine Katzen lieben ihn und ich bin begeistert. Einfacher Aufbau, nicht die geringste Spur von störendem Geruch (schadstoffgeprüft vom TÜV Reinland-Pfalz), beste Qualität und Verarbeitung, durchdachte Konstruktion, stabil(wackelt nicht)und obendrein gab's einen Ersatzplüschball. Top Preis-Leistung.

Ich hatte wahrscheinlich 1-Klick aktiviert und somit aus versehen diesen Baum gekauft. Er gehört nicht zu den günstigsten und stornieren war 3 Minuten später schon nicht mehr möglich. Nun gut, abwarten was da kommt. Zurück schicken geht ja später auch noch. Pustekuchen! Aus reiner Neugier haben wir den Baum dann doch aufgebaut und sind begeistert von der Qualität. Super Standfestigkeit, klasse Verarbeitung. Lediglich die Hängematte wird nicht genutzt weil es scheinbar zu sehr schaukelt.
