I bought this for posture support when sitting at my computer and find it does exactly what I hoped. It stops me from slumping and basically reminds me to sit up straight. It is very comfortable although I have never worn it except on top of a shirt - not sure how comfortable it would be if worn under a shirt on bare skin. I bought the medium as I usually buy a size 8 or 10 but probably should have gotten the small as the shoulder straps are at their tightest and the front flaps are also at their tightest. If I order the black I will get the small. I really like this back support and would highly recommend it for posture support. Again, I can not speak to benefit for back pain as I do not have that problem.

I am 72 years old and have spinal stenosis and arthritis in my spine. I have had both of these conditions for a long number of years. I have been very lucky in that these two problems have become a real problem for me to deal with, only in the last 2 years. This posture support brace is straightening my back posture enough so that I can walk and stand up straight, while wearing it, for periods of time. Without it I need to lean on something to stand up straight. It also helps me to sit up straight. I'm very happy with this product. It does what it's supposed to do.

If you're petite with a curvy waist, don't expect it to fit you. And if you find this out after trying it out, don't expect a refund for your return from The Therapy Connection at HPMS Inc. They just declined the refund after my return and asking to ship it back to me at my cost. This is a greedy company with aweful service and an unjust view. I filed an A-to-Z claim with Amazon and will NEVER buy from this company again. This is a Cincher, not underwear, don't let them harass you over health-hygiene reasons. If "trying on" counts for non-hygienic, then "no-returns accepted" should be posted on the article. Again, ill business practice is a huge turn off.

Very good product I suffer with SI joint pain and Sciatic pain my spine is messed up and this really help. I could walk on my treadmill or floor exercise I even told a friend about it and she got hers in two day shipping and she loves it.

I have bought braces from this company for years and they were my only relief for congenital spinal stenosis and several ruptured disks. I went to replace the worn out ones, and they only offer this one, with straps. The straps have velcro, they are scratchy, and they catch on clothes. As the brace has an hourglass shape for women, I see no real purpose for the upper part. With this change, you have halved the efficiency and usefulness of the brace. I don't know if it was a financial decision to decrease overhead, but please consider resuming production of the ones without straps.

Bought for lower back pain. Works very well, comfortable and cannot be seen under most shirts. Must be worn over a shirt though, so it can get rather bulky. If not worn over a shirt the edges of the brace will chafe skin. Works great for extended periods of standing, provides great support and I would definitely recommend to other people who seek support for the lumbar spine.

I wear this 7 days a week, i put it on early in the morning, and take it off right before I go to bed....this is my upteenth brace,,,and after finding this on amazon.com...I have found the laudering--- i put it in a loungerie bag, in the washer normal cylce , no clothes dryer, hange it to dry and let it room dry I am a baby boomer with no health issues...none.....a very healthy life style...this cincher works miracles......

All I have to say about this product is wonderful!!! I suffer from Arthritis on my lower back since I wore this cincher it has relieved my back pain 90% I wear it when I am shoveling snow and some heavy or lite lifting it helps stabilize and support my back. I would highly recommend this product to any women that has lower back pain problems.
