Finally a set of blades that fit a Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 50" deck!
These are a great replacement for Cub Cadet's OEM blades for an Ultima ZT1 50" and they are about half the cost!! I would get on my knees and beg Max Power to make a mulching blade though. This has been my biggest complaint about my Ultima since I purchased it. Cub Cadet sells a mulching kit with mulching blades - BUT, they don't sell replacement mulching blades! WTF?!? There's only one company that does - Ballard inc. However, there's a major design flaw with their blades if you cut your grass short like me... the Ballard blades are completely flat. If you look closely at the Max Power blades, you'll notice a 7/16" flanged bend that extends the blades lower from the spindle. This is crucial if you mow low to avoid dragging the deck at anything under a 2-inch height of cut. Anyway - I've ran these for over a year now and the pics I've included show the quality of cut throughout the lifespan from July 2022 to current. I've re-sharpened and balanced about 5 times between then and now, and they still have a bit of life left in them. I mow a lot too. 3 to 5 times a week to maintain a low height of cut (1.75") and not accumulate clumps of clippings in the thatch layer. I'd say the average homeowner could get 3 years out of them if you avoid gravel and hard debris. For me - I'll replace around the 2 year mark for what it's worth. For those who are curious - I have a Kentucky Bluegrass and Perennial Ryegrass mix lawn. You would want to make sure your grass type can tolerate low cutting heights before trying to replicate what you see here.

Excellent product.
After three times of ordering blades for a Cub Cadet ZT1 50 these were the perfect fit. Many blades you order are 17 1/4 in length and this mower requires the 17.05. Fit perfect at a good price.

Works great!
They fit the mower perfectly. My husband put these on the mower and zipped through 2 acres of tall grass. They are sharp and hold the edge.

High quality at low price
These blades a high quality & perfect fit, but at a much lower price than comparable ones I found. Very pleased with results on zero-turn mower.

Good blades but a bit too large for Craftsman T260
So, these seem to be decent blades. I put them on my Craftsman (Crapsman) T260 50'' and it turns out they needed to be filed down maybe 1/8'' on each end to fit properly. As delivered, they were nicking the mower deck when I engaged the clutch. Not a big deal just a bit of extra work . The part number is supposed to fit my mower; this is the 4th or 5th set of blades I have ordered from Amazon in the last 5 years or so, and this is the first time they didn't fit. Overall, work just fine but needed to spend an extra 30 minutes or so to remove the blades again, file them, and re-install. Mowed a few acres so far, so good. I like the cut.

USA blades
What a difference a product made in the USA makes versus the cheap Chinese junk blades. The USA blades are much heavier and you can see that these blades are a better quality product. Just finished my first mowing with these blades and they worked great. I checked the edge on the blade and they were still like new after mowing 2 1/2 acres. Great blades at a fair price.

Recommended but.... re-labelled Copperhead blades
These blades are compatible with mowers designed with a six-point star head. However, they are re-labeled Copperhead blades, which raised some curiosity for me. Despite not finding a specific reason behind the re-labeling, Copperhead blades appear to be of good quality, possibly exclusive to a particular retail chain. On the positive side, these blades are made in the USA and perform adequately. I did sharpen them upon receiving, although it may not have been necessary (they should have been sharper straight out of the box).

No complaints .
MaxPower blades bought for a Cub Cadet rzts zero turn with 50โ deck. Pn: 942-05052a. These are 17 1/4โ. They are 2 1/2โ wide which is wider then the ones that were on there but doesnโt matter. Fit fine.

Strong blades
Great heavy duty blades which cut well and stay straight after impact with all rocks and wood

seems to be just as good
Initial impression is that these blades perform just as well as OEM blades. Difficult to perform a back to back comparison with only one riding mower but they fit perfectly and appear to do what they were designed to do. They are not as expensive as OEM which is the biggest selling point.
