Is this a rechargeable battery?

This is not a rechargeable battery. It is a silver oxide battery.

Yes, its just one. Silver cells are a bit more expensive than their alkaline equivalents. However, if you need a battery where a stable voltage output is important, silver cells are better than alkaline. I use this battery in a film camera with an electronic shutter. The manual calls out the silver cell as the preferred battery to use (however the alkaline equivalent can be used as well).

Can anyone tell me if this will work in a 1960's yeshica camera, 35mm film one thanks?

If it used mercury batteries PX28, 4MR44 or others it should work. Google for modern equivalent of the battery it specified.
