A very accurate stylus at a terrific price.
I bought this as a backup to my Apple Pencil (1st Generation) so that I'd have something to use while it charges. For about one-third the price, this stylus is a bold competitor. The look and feel is very similar to the Apple Pencil, though it does sport a flat edge similar to the Apple Pencil 2 (though not quite as wide an edge) that keeps it from rolling off the table. I have used it daily for over a week and have not needed to recharge it, so the battery life is impressive. I am guessing that this may have something to do with the fact that it is not a Bluetooth device. In fact, if you have an Apple Pencil connected to your device (I am using an iPad Air 3rd Generation), it won't work. You have to disconnect your Apple Pencil (you can also just turn off Bluetooth temporarily) for this stylus to be recognized. I also like the blue "on" status light. The Apple Pencil lacks that. I tend to flip my pen around in my hand while I think, and inadvertently turn the stylus off while I am working with it. With the Apple Pencil, I have a rubber stylus cap over the charging port (stem) and I use that to move my documents around and do other finger gestures. The Xiron Stylus Pen has a plain plastic top with no cap. I suppose one could put a cap on it, but then you'd have to remove it to turn the pen on and off. Anyway, I am getting used to not touching the pen top. It is very sensitive, so if you're Stylus Pen stops working, just make sure the blue light is on. You may have unknowingly turned it off. The nib is very sharp and accurate, which makes it great for both note-taking and drawing. I prefer to use a matte screen protector. Xiron makes one that works well with the iPad Air. It makes the screen feel more like paper when writing with a stylus, and adds to your ability to control the nib. Over all, this is a high-quality stylus that fits great in the hand and feels very natural to write with. It is just a bit thicker than the Apple Pencil (1st Gen), but you would only notice that if you held both at the same time. It charges very quickly and the charge lasts a long time. For the price, it really can't be beat. There are a lot of alternatives to the Apple Pencil on the market, each with its own pros and cons. This one is one of the most affordable and full-functioning alternatives. If you are a student looking to take notes and doodle, or a writer like myself, you will love this stylus.

Decent intro pen for the price
Pen is pretty good especially for the price. I do wish there was a way for it to differentiate when I’m resting my hand on my iPad to draw sometimes it registers the touch weird and the magnets are a bit weak but for the price it’s great.

Quality supersedes the price!
The XIRON stylus is surprisingly well-built and has a premium quality feel to it. It’s very comfortable to hold and is very accurate when it comes to writing, with basically no delay. Best part is it’s future-proof, with a USB-C charging port. Some areas where it is lacking include the way you turn it on. With a soft touch on the other end of the stylus, it turns on very easily but at the same time, it has the potential to turn off just as easily. Maybe a long press to turn off would’ve been better. Another feature that’s lacking is pressure sensitivity while writing, but it looks like this feature can only be found on the Apple Pencil. My last concern is with the sound it makes when writing on the iPad. Personally, I haven’t used the Apple Pencil so not sure how loud that product is but with the XIRON stylus, you have to be consciously aware to not creating the loud tapping noise when writing or using the pen in general. In a normal coffee shop environment, you won’t really hear it that much but in a quieter setting like your home office or meeting room, it’s very noticeable. To combat this, I taped a piece of bandage wrap to the tip of the stylus (as seen in the second picture), and it has completely eliminated all the noise. I was trying to find the right balance between eliminating the sound but also maintaining the premium finish of the product and I think the resulting product has come out well. And my DIY silencer hasn’t impacted the accuracy of the stylus whatsoever. Hopefully, in future iterations of this product, XIRON can try to improve the stylus by incorporating a quiet touch tip. With that being said, for the price of $40, this is fantastic alternative to the overpriced Apple Pencil. Unless you’re an artist, pressure sensitivity shouldn’t really be a concern and if the tapping noise is bothering you, you can eliminate it in just a few minutes.

WOW!
I bought another stylus pen before this purchase and it did not work as well as I thought it would. I purchased the new iPad Pro and needed a stylus pen that was compatible with it. AND did not have any trouble with putting my palm on the screen. Without doing much research but some review stalking, I found this pen AND WOW! This pen has such similar features to the apple pencil, it even LOOKS like it. (I did not get a black tip of the pencil). The only few differences are that this does not have a magnet for it to stick to the iPad Pro and charge, it does not have the feature where you can switch between tools, and it is not pressure sensitive - meaning the harder you press down on your screen, the stroke of the pen would change. Though the magnet aspect would be cool, I don't really see a use for wanting to switch between tools (I don't do that much work on any app to have to switch between a pencil and eraser on the app). And pressing down on the screen, again, is not a real big use for me. I actually bought an Apple Pencil 2 skin for it, and it fit perfectly! I used it all day yesterday (along with a paperlike screen protector) and it is so easy to use, and writes so well. I was truly impressed and happy with my purchase. This is my number one recommendation for those who want something LIKE the apple pencil 2 but don't want to pay for the entire amount. Update 01/21/2021 It is still holding up and doing the job right! I have gone through both pen tips (i must write hard on the ipad) and have asked the customer service if they provide extra tips as part of the one year warranty and lo and behold - THEY DO! I advise that if you get this pen, scan the QR code to register your order and get the one year warranty to get the replacement tips (without any extra costs). They are sooooo efficient, kind, and respond QUICKLY! (within the same day). I made a wrong choice and instead of saying the deal is closed they sent the correct pen tip and didn’t have me re send the mistaken one :’) , they truly blew me away! But if you haven’t already!!! Forget the $129 Apple Pencil this is your best bet!!!!!

Decent Apple Pencil alternative with one flaw
I was looking for an alternative to the official Apple Pencil and ordered this one after seeing all of the positive reviews. I have an iPad Air (3rd Generation) and have no issues using it on there. Quick answer: If drawing isnt your thing and you need one for notes, work, school, etc. then I would recommend you get this and spend the $50-60 you save on yourself (or just save it). Pros: -So easy to connect to iPad right out of the package, you might think that it inst connected. -Has an indentation on the pencil to keep it from rolling off the table or desk. -USB-c charging allows for quick charging -Came with a backup set of tips if the one it comes with ever dulls over time. -I really like feel of it. Feels like an actual pencil and is pretty light. -Cool battery saving technology (that also turns out to be a con at times) Cons:(aka why I gave it the stars I did) - Does not have pressure sensitivity capability. So, if you are drawing or writing, the inking doesnt adapt to how hard or soft you are pressing on the tablet. It is all one width. To me, this was a bummer since the majority of the reason I bought it was for drawing/illustrating and taking notes in class and meetings. - Depending on your writing and drawing style, you might have to continuously turn it back on. It has an eraser sized edge on the end where an eraser would be that you have to touch to activate it at times. This is because it senses leaving your palm to deactivate and save power. So, if you are a bouncy writer or illustrator that moves the pencil in your hand either through rotating angles or somewhat fidgeting with it, you will continuously activate and deactivate it which can disrupt flow. -After noticing these concerns, I re-visited the page to see if it was an error on my part and I didnt do enough research on the product. While some have commented about the powering on and off, I couldnt find anything related to the width and pressure sensitivity for illustrations. I wish that it listed that in the product description (or, at least that I had seen that before buying) because then I wouldnt have purchased it. Would I buy it again? Knowing what I know now...probably not. If only taking notes in class and meetings was all I was using my ipad for, then it would be fine. But I want to be able to take my illustrations with me wherever I go and use different brushes in the drawing app. Since I threw away the packaging for this and, therefore, wasnt able to return it I just decided to buy an apple pencil and just be done with it.

Pro çizer değilseniz ideal
iPad 10. Nesil tabletimle uyumlu.

Great alternative
Great pen if you can’t afford the actual apple pen. Bought it with my own money after my mum brought me my iPad as a birthday gift and very worthwhile. The battery is long lasting which is great - lasts during school. Also the charging port for the pen is the same as my iPad (air 5th gen) which makes it easier when using one cable. Only thing is sometimes I think it bugs out for a second. This may just be the fact that you don’t connect the pen via Bluetooth so it may just be the ipad not registering the pen. Happens rarely therefore not a major problem! Highly recommend because £119 for a apple pen is ridiculous. Like seriously? We've just bought an around a £600+ iPad and you want to charge another £119 for a pen.
