More comfortable than the stock Sennheiser pad of my 598.
This worked out great for my Sennheiser 598 that I got way back in 2013. Naturally few if any headbands are going to last that long when used literally hours a day, day after day for all that time. In that time I'm on my third set of ear pads but this was the first time I replaced the headband. So as you can imagine mine was pretty cracked out. The pad fit on the headphones perfectly. It's thicker than the stock but that didn't create any issues, it's actually more comfortable than the stock headband. The only thing I didn't like about it was like others I had an adhesion issue at first with a 1 inch spot about 1-2 inches from the end of the left side wanting to keep coming unstuck. I was expecting similar from the reviews but it was still annoying to have to keep pressing that closed. What fixed the issue for me was just narrowing the gap between the fingers on what was suppose to be a GPU brace that I instead repurposed as a headphone holder I glued up to the bottom of my desk's hutch. That holding it tight and for long periods of time right on the spot that kept coming unstuck took care of it, now it doesn't come off anymore even if I don't place it there on that spot anymore like in the pic. So if you run into the same issue clamp it with something before you end up with dust or gunk or what have you getting onto the glue, and that should take care of it. I'm really happy with this.

A good replacement headband
The adhesive is a little weak on the band, so it is important to make sure any residue from the old headband is cleaned off before installation. Fits and looks just right, and I forget that it isn't the original headband.

These feel great
Bought this for my HD555 that I bought around 2006 or something that I still use to this day. You can imagine what the pads looked like. I honestly wasn't even aware you could switch them out. I was about to throw out a g4me one headset that goes in and out in one ear but decided to check if the ear covers fit the hd555 and surprising they're a perfect match! The sound of my headphones changed because the headphones are now sitting further from my ears but I think that's to be expected with all replacements pads, including OEM. ANYWAYS, all that was left to do was switch out the head pad so switched the old ones out with these and now my headphones feel new again. These are very comfortable so no complaints. They feel similar to the OEM ear pads foam. Can't really tell the difference. I recommend. Observe the deflated state of the original OEM head pad. Lol

Perfect for me
The headband pad must have detached from my HD-555 years ago. Every time I put my headphones on, I'd hold the pad against them and it wouldn't ever fall out of place, so I didn't mind much. This new headband feels great and has been holding perfectly, so far. I ordered this on July 7th, 2024 and it's now October 15th. This new headband seems to be ever so slightly shorter than the original pad; I'm talking millimeters, so there is 0 perceptible difference unless you are looking directly at where it attaches to the headband. After applying the pad to the headband, I wrapped it tightly from end-to-end and gave it a good long time to make sure it was secure. I don't know if that was necessary, but it couldn't hurt. I am content with this purchase and can confidently recommend it to anyone who needs a replacement headband pad for their Sennheisers.

Mostly good
I bought this to replace the ancient and flat foam pad on my Sennheiser 558s. Pros 1. Comfortable foam makes it feel brand new. Neutral 1. Like the other reviewer said, the fit is only mostly right. Not a big deal though. Cons 1. The 3M sticky side on mine is not very good. It'll stick as long as I don't move the headphones at all, but as soon as I open them to put them on my head, a gap forms between the sticky side and the headphone itself. It's not the biggest deal so I only removed a star. I bought this along with a set of official pads from Sennheiser and my 558s feel brand new again. However, I do wish the sticky side of this were more sticky. Otherwise, I recommend it. *Updated January 2021* My initial complaint of the sticky side not being that sticky has slowly become a bigger and bigger problem. To a point where, when I open the headphones to put them on, the pad just falls off. I plan on buying a new set and hoping it goes better, but when the gap exists, hair and dust get in there over a period of time (at least if you use yours as often as I use mine) and it eventually kills the sticky altogether. I'm Investigating ways to fix it, but short of a permanent install (with like glue), I feel like the sticky side of this goes bad long before the padded side does. Dropped from 4 stars to 3 stars. *update 2021* I saw some reviews that suggested the adhesive problem was fixed (or at least they started using a stronger adhesive). I bought another one and decided to try it out myself since myast one had such terrible adhesive. Even just peeling off the 3m tape, I could tell there was a significant difference between this one and the one I bought a year ago. Seems to stick much better. I did my usual thing which is to clean the headband with cotton balls and rubbing alcohol, letting it dry, and then putting on the headband. It still shows a small gap, but it's not nearly as big as before. This time, to not take any chances, I am going to use rubber bands and not touch it for a few days to let the adhesive set. Hopefully this one does better. If you don't see anymore future updates from me, consider it a success. 3 stars back to 4 stars. *Update 2022* Back to 3 stars as the adhesive started to do what it usually does, which is fail. Now when I open my 558s, the headband falls right out. However, I think I have figured out the issue and it's a matter of flexibility. When you open the headphone, the material can't stretch to accommodate, so it pulls the headband flat which separates it from the headphone. It's kinda like pork chops with a strip of fat. If you pan fry it, the pork chop curls up, but if you cut the fat strip, the stats flat. The same fix applies here. You can cut a notch out of the headband and, when you open the headphones, the material will have the proper give and not separate from the pad from the band. Only problem is that it looks bad. The only other solution I've found is to get a headband sock of some sort to hold the pad in place so the glue becomes irrelevant, but that flattens the pad faster than wearing it does.

May as well be trash. Should have searched harder for a genuine replacement.
Update 2024-06-15: A prompt refund was provided by Geekria. After applying zip ties and straps to help the adhesive seal, I have slowly removed some of the zip ties over the past couple days. I still don't expect it to last long, but it has helped allow the pad to adhere somewhat. (This was similar to the reviewer who glued and used clamps/clothes pins to get it to stick and hold.) I still have 2 zip ties attached near the outer edges, where it doesn't impact the touch-point on top of my head as much, so the comfort is still fairly good. But, it doesn't look pretty, and shouldn't be required. I also ordered a headband cover to wrap around the headband and pad to help hold it on, and keep it clean, in attempts to avoid it separating further, and keep hair/dust/debris from getting into the adhesive. ** The adhesive still needs some serious improvement, and instructions clarified to advise on how to get it to properly adhere, including the zip ties to do so (or whatever method they choose). I'd still look elsewhere, or go in knowing you will need to come up with a solution, whether it be gluing it on (and hope you can get that glue off later when you need to replace it again), or wrapping it with another product, like a headband cover. Doing it again, I'd seriously consider the ZMF Headphones pads: Pilot or Co-Pilot, or the Crescent Snap, depending on your headphones. zmfheadphones.com ---------------------------------------- Original review: 1, Removed my old headband pad on 12 year old Sennheiser HD558s. Foam was way worn out, but it was still attached fine. Just beginning to show signs of adhesive peeling away. But, still took work to peel it off. 2, Cleaned up the headband plastic really well with isopropyl alcohol. Cleaning all old residue off. Then let it dry. 3, Installed Geekria headband pad per the instructions; start on one side, pressing it on from one side to the other, not to create any air gaps during application. Pressed it down around the edges multiple times to get it to seat as good as it was going to. I could tell it wasn't going to last long, even at this stage.. 4, Wore headphones for a couple hours. Just watching some TV, not moving around. Comfortable, noticeably more padding than my old worn out pad. 5, Took headphones off, looked over the pad and adhesion quality, then took the pics shown. Would be laughable if I had not just paid $13 for this. 6, Update (a couple hours later): Now I have wrapped it in zip ties, twist ties, and straps to try to hold this pad on properly.. Was comfortable before, now its not, and will likely ruin the foam. If your reading reviews, and thinking about buying this, listen to the ones that state; "Not sticky, poor adhesive, doesn't stick, peeling off after a couple hours/days/weeks/month". These are pretty clear signs of what to expect from this product. This product shouldn't exist. Waste of resources, $$, and time. Find something else, pay more if you have to. Ideally find a genuine Sennheiser pad. I wish I didn't even peel off my old, worn out Senn headband pad at this point, it was better than this. Not even interested in wasting more resources to have this product returned/replaced. I'll be looking for a legit Senn pad instead. TLDR; Get something else. Don't buy this trash.

great replacement headband
replaced my old pair of HD558s headband that was getting kind of crusty and gross with this one. it's very quick and easy to attach it to the headband with the double coated tape, also the price is good in my opinion. replaced the ear pads a few weeks ago as well so it's like a brand new pair of cans for now. i would say these are just as comfy as the stock headband was, maybe even slightly more comfy.

Great
Soft pad that gave extra padding on the headband, I used to have headaches from my Sennheiser headphones and was about to replace them. Thanks to this small padding, it feels I have a cushion on the head, so nice! Should have bought this long time ago - highly recommend. It's 3M glue so you know the sticking is good quality.
