Is it for any skin types?

Yes it says "for all skin types" on the bottles. If something is not right for your skin , get in touch with Customer service and they will fix it - their CS is great all questions are answer in a timely manner. Remember with any new skin routine, you Will Not see results in one day usually it is around 90 days. I have enjoyed all the products that I have ordered and reorder.

Dose it help with acne prone skin?

I would consider not to use it on acne prone skin as it may irritate and dry it further. It contains alcohol.

Is it one of those products that it makes your skin work before it gets better?

Not in my opinion. I last bought this 3 months ago and thought the product quality was worse than when I used it a few years ago. It feels like its petroleum based now

Will this minimize my pores and even out my skin tone?

I believe it has even out my skin but it took some time.
