This is much more durable than the bottle I have from the hospital. I had hip replacement surgery a few months ago and needed the bottle for awhile. The base is much wider than the hospital bottle so it stands on end withour tipping over. The glowing bottle cap did not really do much unless it was hit with a bright light, but that did not matter as it is easy to see the white plastic in low light levels. The cap is easy to screw on and seals tightly. The liquid measurement on the side are clearly marked and easy to use. The only thing that the hospital bottle did better was the handle could be hooked over the bed rail. Other than that, this is way better.

I tore my Achilles and am currently sleeping on our oversized couch. I’m non-weight bearing for two weeks after surgery, so it’s risky getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. So I purchased this, and it’s been a lifesaver. I drink a lot of water, especially on the pain meds so I have to pee a couple times a night. This is super convenient to have to on in and has a glow in the dark lid, so it’s easy to see, and seals to avoid messy spills. Not a sexy product, but probably most important review I’ve done! This thing has saved me during this surgery!

Really like this exceptional urinal. Made of heavier plastic than others. Love the wider base, will not tip over! Love the screw top instead of the pop off top. We have a night light so have not checked the flow in the dark feature as that was not important to us. Would definitely recommend

Purchased this item in advance of upcoming total hip replacement surgery. As other reviews have noted, the edge around the opening is sharp. Another customer noted in his review that it is a good idea to take a lighter (long barbeque lighter is ideal) and just soften up the plastic to remove the sharp edge around the opening. Just be careful to go over it lightly so as not to melt the plastic but only soften it up a little bit. Worked like a charm and no more worries about injuring the family jewels.

While,yes,these do the job they’re supposed to,it’s not the one I thought I ordered. This one seems a bit skimpy in size,skimpy on quality when compared to the other ones owned. This plastic seems thinner,not as strong as others,making me wonder when the dreaded accident will happen,I don’t get that thought with the other ones. I won’t order this one again,I sure hope the next order is what I am hoping for!

La sonde urinaire peut contenir 2 pipis pour un homme de corpulence moyenne, cependant mon voisin me l'a emprunté l'autre jour et celui-ci me certifie qu'il arrive à en faire 3 ! Le couvercle glow in the dark fonctionne du tonnerre ! Seul bémol j'ai par erreur un jour enlevé le plug fluorescent de ma femme en pensant que c'était la panne ! Je ne vous raconte pas le bazar ! Il y a un petit trou au niveau du dessus de la hanse, pas de soucis pour vraiment mettre la dose le trou de la hanse n'est pas relié au conteneur, pas besoin donc de se salir les mains ! Excellent produit, je recommande vivement !

My husband recently had a stroke and our bathroom is downstairs so thought he would need something to pee into incase of a nighttime emergency. The product is sturdy and holds a large amount of liquid. It also has a flat bottom so can be safely placed on the floor/flat surface. Screw top lid, but could probably be pushed shut. I checked this as my husband cannot move his left side. Glow in the dark is a bonus, my husband said this was really helpful.
