This is the one you want!
Geniani where have you been all my life! ; )I have spent a couple hours overall reading reviews and tried a PureGardian 1st. Sent it back due to a gurgles of water that woke me and I have hearing loss! It was also a bottom loader so inconvenient. It did a good mist though. What i like so much about Geniani was everything. Top water Loader ( I use distilled water ) very simple no moving the humidifier to bathroom . Misting options 1-5 #1 being a smart mode but to much for me woke up damp. Next night I turned it to low which was perfect slept straight thru the night, very unusual for me.Any light from device is very minimal.I only wanted a 1 to 1.5 gallon so I could not waste the water when I frequently cleaned it as it was only for my medium size bedroom. It's top loading! totally convenient, so easy right there without moving the humidifier. I always put it on a tray anyway to protect furniture just incase.Tried it in kitchen 1st to check noise level before moving to bedroom, put water in and immediately started producing vapor and later no gurgling noise even as it ran out of water.I never thought Id get excited about a humidifier but sleep makes all the difference in my day.Only negatives so far which are far from any issues, 1. spout is non-adjustable but the vapor still goes up a good amount. Not a problem.2. you need to tap the button 1-5 for the setting of your choice and last one turns it off. A non issues really.Note: I've only had this for 1 week so can't talk about cleaning or mineral build up. I use distilled water to try to keep that to a minimum. Very happy with this humidifier so far. I will comment later if needed.

Handy little humidifier, good customer service!
The humidifier ran well for 7 months and eventually stopped working. I reached out to Geniani customer service and they replaced the item. This has been a great little humidifier, no complaints, compliments for customer satisfaction.

4 ⭐ turns to 5🌟
4 ⭐ to 5 ⭐. Not sure what happened. I purchased my bedside humidifier in January. It's late June & it has stopped working. I tried everything. It is a really nice little travel humidifier, especially if you have trouble w dry sinus. I reached out to their customer service. They were amazing. They are sending me a replacement! I'm truly grateful as I do love the product! This bumps up my 4⭐ to a 5🌟!

Best Humidifier Yet
I’ve been using this brand for about 4+ years now and I’ve bought 3 different models as they’ve made improvements along the way. Customer service is exceptional. They offered to replace my humidifier after the stop valve broke and flooded over the water in the bottom tank. I came to read other reviews to compare my experience with others, and here’s what I’ve noticed: many of the complaints revolve around user error yet they blame the brand.I’ll be the first to say that I by no means have followed the instructions to a T but I have learned along the way on how to treat and mitigate residue buildup issues. Our tap water is absolutely disgusting, so we add drops to treat the water BEFORE we put it into the tank (start yourself off with some gallon jugs of distilled water so you can use them to treat future water). I also pull water from my fridge, which I change the filter on regularly. These minimal adjustments have slowed the growth of microbes (and we have that pink slime bacteria—yuck!). Cleaning weekly, like the instructions say, is a MUST. I also let the top tank and detachable parts soak in food grade vinegar before rinsing with soap and hot water. Yes, getting into the mist pipe is hard. This is where soaking can help a lot. The other important part is to THOROUGHLY DRY all parts. This will prevent microbes from returning because they rely on moisture to survive. Sometimes you just have to go a night without the humidifier to allow enough time for a good dry. Also another lesson learned: never place the humidifier under or near an air vent—you will regret that.I am confident enough in this brand that I’ve added their product to my baby registry.tldr: read instructions thoroughly, stay on top of weekly cleaning, avoid placing near air vents, dry out completely after washing, I will be putting this humidifier in my baby’s room because it’s just that great!

RIP Geniani siblings
I bought my first Geniani in 2021 and loved it. It was perfect on my bedside table at night and especially helpful in the dry southwest desert. I even gave one to my daughter and she loves hers. We both travel with them. It was always a trusty companion. Mine lasted 3 years. In October 2024, it stopped working and I bought another one, figuring 3 years was probably reasonable in today’s expectations for small appliance lifespan (unfortunately). This one lasted just 6 months. I reached out to the company and they were responsive and sent me a replacement at no cost. This one lasted 2 weeks. Again, the company replaced it. (Thank you!) One week after receiving it, it also stopped working. The company replaced that one. I decided to test the power supply. All three of the cords I had powered this unit just fine. I emailed the company and shared this feedback and they were appreciative. It suggests that it is not the power supply, but the unit itself that is malfunctioning. Now tonight, just 1 month since the very first malfunction this THIRD replacement stopped working. While the company has been wonderful and responsive and kind in all our exchanges, I will put this to rest. RIP my sweet Geniani collection. As far as I know, the one I gifted my daughter in 2021 is still working.
