what is the difference between the white /yellow - nutritionwise and taste???

Nutritionally, white popcorn is a little more high-calorie (like < 10 % more) but both are low-fat (before you put the butter on!). The big difference to me is the texture. This brand of white popcorn is crispier than any yellow I've popped. Yellow popcorn seems chewier--less crisp. It's a matter of taste as to whether this is a good thing, but to me it makes all the difference!

Are there a lot of hulls in the popped corn? The fewer, the better.

NO / -0- HULLS!!!! I pop 1/3 cup kernels in 2 large tablespoons of Organic Coconut Oil and it is outstanding!!!! If you notice all of the kernels aren't popping use more coconut oil. We use the Nordic Ware Microwaveable Popcorn Bowl ($8 on Amazon) that is great as well. My son mixes 1/2 teaspoon Flavacol Popcorn Seasoning in with the kernels & Coconut Oil before popping 2 min & 45 seconds. I am about to purchase our THIRD container of the 4 lb Snappy Popcorn.

Absolutely! Put 2 1/2 to 3 tablespoons in a paper bag o an Air Popper and set microwave to "high" for 3 minutes. The time may need adjusting, depending on your microwave power. I do not use oil, butter or anything else during the popping. After popping, I sometimes spray the non-calorie butter on the popped corn. Delicious. Eat it most days.

Does anyone have an opinion how it compares to Orville's white popcorn?

This is white popcorn, smaller pieces, but I love the flavor and the hulls are more delicate Very good, fresh popcorn
