Nicely cut and polished. Approximately equal in size and weight. Very pretty.

These were Dyed. I could see the green dye in the stone's crevises and fractures using my 15x Loupe. At least the dye had been removed from the exterior of the Stones. They look like they were Faceted for a Ring setting. They were Okay for the price paid.

It was hard to pass up the thought of emerald gemstones at such a low price point. Someone had left a review about the gems being dyed, so I wanted to verify for myself. I soaked them in some acetone (which is the quickest way to verify if a gemstone is dyed) and the liquid did turn green. I took a few pictures that showed how light the stones got when the dye was removed (as much as I could remove it). Some of the stones stayed sort of dark. But the majority turned a very light green. As a small business owner who makes jewelry, I spend a lot of time and money investing in quality gemstones for my customers. If I am holding myself to a high standard, I expect where I am sourcing my stuff from to be willing to do the same. Had it been stated that these were dyed, fine. But not a single mention in the product description. Now, I feel it necessary to take these to a gemologists to determine if they are actually emerald. It actually looks like green onyx once the dye is washed away. All this could have been avoided if they had just stated they were dyed. It is frustrating. The stones are cut nicely and are pretty, even with the light color. But my trust has been destroyed. Do better.

These are real stones slightly heavy but perfect, fast delivery, happy

Ordered these “emeralds” on a whim to try a craft project. I was surprised at the inexpensive price and should have been wary. The stones that I received were all awkwardly cut and many were not even the shape ordered. The photo is of a PLASTIC piece included! The stones were at MOST half as large as the advertised photos and many had cracks and chips. Shipping took forever and I had forgotten I had even ordered them by the time they arrived. Waste of money and time. Save yourself the trouble and don’t bother with gemhub.
